Although Chambers’ game is not revolving around the jump shot, he deserves praise for how easily he can get the shot off. At 6’2, he can get buckets off the catch with ease, regardless of a contest. Although not incredibly quick from the first step, Chambers is never sped up and has great reaction speeds when needing to deploy a dribble move. His positional size and length allow him bang into opponents while using the touch to finish around them. No doubt that Chambers will be one of the more well rounded scoring threats coming into Cherry Creek this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1285224" first="Ethan" last="Levin"] - Kent Denver

Although undersized at 5’11, Levin is one of the state’s best shooters due to his footwork off the catch and notable balance coming off screens. When combining his lower body work with the shooting mechanics and touch, he is someone you cannot leave more than a couple steps away. While I need to see a bit more of Levin’s all around game, I’d like to see a increased usage from him playmaking in the pick and roll.

Bilotta proved himself as an efficient scorer both around the rim and beyond the three point line. The 6’ combo guard was fearless attacking the rim, often seeking out contact versus strong forwards. Bilotta was capable hitting threes off the catch, stepping into the shot, or curling into a jumper. The biggest surprise came from his hand strength, where he ripped the ball away for steals on multiple occassions. Continuing to work on his change of speeds will add another level of depth to his playmaking, where Grandview has a lot of size. Either way, the combo guard will have a major impact on both ends for a Grandview group looking to make big plays this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1360566" first="Tommy" last="Wight"] - ThunderRidge

Wight has the highest upside of this group at roughly 6’6, the wing is up there with anyone in the state as a shooter off the catch. With much more volume this upcoming season, Wight shows no signs of slowing down from deep. Along with his height, he possesses a bit of length which should allow him to be a helpful weakside defender off the ball. While I know he has more in his bag than displayed with ThunderRidge, the continuation of ball handing reps in pick and roll situations will be a massive addition to Wight’s game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1325691" first="Ryan" last="Leopold"] - Riverdale Ridge (title image)

Leopold was one of the top players in the gym due to his scoring versatility and all around impact at 6’2. Possessing a strong frame that can guard both perimeter positions, Leopold will be a major force at Riverdale Ridge. He can make you pay in a variety of ways, especially off the ball as a cutter and offensive rebounder. The icing on the cake was his shooting ability off the catch or from a dribble move. His compact shot paired with the necessary confidence has allowed him to be a destructive shooter even against larger opponents. Wight and Leopold are two of the most versatile complementary scorers on this list.
