<p>Prep Hoops is winding down its coverage from the SCBCA #SCLive2022 last weekend in Rock Hill. Let’s find out about some small forwards-wings from the event. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/72FB753C-5081-47D8-82CC-ECF62CF66AAC.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1495117" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/72FB753C-5081-47D8-82CC-ECF62CF66AAC-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1107731" first="Malachi" last="Stevens"] - Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant) </strong></p> <p>Stevens has had solid spring on the Grassroots Circuit. Malachi fills the lane in transition very well and can knockdown the mid-range jumper. Stevens continues to better his game and looking forward to seeing his progress down the road.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1495099" first="Malique" last="Middleton"] - Woodland HS </strong></p> <p>Middleton was a nice surprise with his play for the Wolverines. Malique is a rangy forward who really covers a lot of ground all over the floor. He has a slender - sleek frame and a long wingspan to be disruptive in the passing lanes. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1098676" first="Kameron" last="Foman"] - Hartsville HS (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Foman was in attack mode all weekend scoring the ball at the cup. Kameron is a left-handed forward who excels in the transition style of play. Kameron plays very well around the basket. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/B825D82E-D9DB-41A0-BBCD-51B8552EEB50.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1495124" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/B825D82E-D9DB-41A0-BBCD-51B8552EEB50-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1421750" first="West" last="Kellett"] - Woodmont HS (Piedmont) </strong></p> <p>Kellett brings a great demeanor to the floor along with work ethic. West can do a bit this and a bit of that on the floor. He is an ideal player to stuff the stat sheet every night. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/6FC2ADAC-9BAE-48DF-9978-1465E2D564DC.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1495137" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/6FC2ADAC-9BAE-48DF-9978-1465E2D564DC-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>Darius Abraham - Indian Land HS </strong></p> <p>Abraham came across the border from the Hoops State to play for the Warriors. Darius played last season at Harding HS (Charlotte). He really can overpower players to the basket and tends to be a mismatch at times. Darius runs on the Grassroots Circuit with Team Charlotte.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/7C33ABFD-FC7D-42B2-9D80-813D0C231D99.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1493541" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/7C33ABFD-FC7D-42B2-9D80-813D0C231D99-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1421748" first="Nykel" last="Franklin"] - Wade Hampton HS (Greenville) </strong></p> <p>Nykel a left-hand wing player really likes to finish and stalk around the baseline. Franklin can connect on short jumpers, but he’s sees most effective around the paint. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/06B85840-0921-42F7-BBBB-8529BF00D7DD.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1495130" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/06B85840-0921-42F7-BBBB-8529BF00D7DD-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1495098" first="Johnathan" last="Whysong"] - Wren HS (Piedmont) </strong></p> <p>Johnathan is a good-sized wing that was able to score the ball from all 3 levels today for the Hurricanes. Whysong averaged 8.7 ppg and 5.8 rebounds last season - look for those numbers to climb this season.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/03D0FEA6-5184-46C9-9AA5-36FB385B3B87.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1493534" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/03D0FEA6-5184-46C9-9AA5-36FB385B3B87-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="922036" first="Chris" last="Parker"] - A.C. Flora HS </strong></p> <p>Parker is a big wing who really likes to attack the cup. Chris has been a focal point for the Falcons for the past few years. Parker plays very effective around the basket and has no problem rebounding the ball well from his position.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/DF092C41-1BEF-401E-9D0F-2DEEE811AD9D.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1493523" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/DF092C41-1BEF-401E-9D0F-2DEEE811AD9D-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865324" first="Justice" last="Johnson"] - Richland Northeast HS </strong></p> <p>Johnson is long and rangy forward who can handle the rock some with his versatility. Justice is great in the passing lanes picking up steals. He has had a good spring on the Grassroots Circuit with HYB Raptors.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/CBA48B90-0C0C-42B0-9925-886412DA7910.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1493526" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/CBA48B90-0C0C-42B0-9925-886412DA7910-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1495097" first="Jordan" last="Dahmer"] - Rock Hill HS </strong></p> <p>Jordan is an extremely athletic wing player.  Dahmer left a lasting impression with his game here this weekend. Jordan never took a play off while in the game today. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/6F4033A1-011A-4B2A-AE49-C5535EF59612.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1495119" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/6F4033A1-011A-4B2A-AE49-C5535EF59612-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="996189" first="Jose" last="Figueroa"] - Lexington HS </strong></p> <p>Figueroa understands his role very well on this talented Wildcats squad. Jose delivers some putbacks on the glass and brings constant activity on the floor with his play. He has no problem defending anyone on the floor. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/08C82AFF-8B94-4728-8421-3C18AFCF097F.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1493540" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/06/08C82AFF-8B94-4728-8421-3C18AFCF097F-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1318616" first="Brushaurd" last="Young"] - Denmark-Olar HS </strong></p> <p>Young has good body and look to him as he plays football in the fall for the Vikings. Brushaurd will have to improve his numbers this season with the graduation of Zachary Davis. Brushaurd is a classic double-double guy who does his best work around the paint. </p>
