Here is part four of looking at new additions the Prep Hoops staff added to the New England 2024 rankings list.

[player_tooltip player_id="1412555" first="Max" last="Miller"], Northfield Mount Hermon, Position PG, HT 5’11, AAU Rens United

Max is a true Point guard. He is pass first, and is good at reading the defense. He has a high basketball IQ and knows when to get his teammates involved, and when to take it himself. He is efficient, and doesn’t need a lot of dribbles to make his moves. Max isn’t the biggest player on the floor, but he is one of the quicker, and craftier players.

[player_tooltip player_id="1489326" first="Jason" last="Schofield"], South Kent, Position PF, HT 6’8, AAU PSA Cardinals

Jason has made a big jump into the rankings. He is a high wanted college prospect, who has a number of high, and mid major division 1 offers. His offers include Illinois, Bryant, Albany, and more. Jason has a great skill set for today’s basketball. A Power Forward, who can stretch the floor, and has a good mix of an inside and outside game. He is a threat from beyond the arc, and also a threat to score off the dribble, and inside the paint. He is a strong passer from the high, and low post. He is very aggressive, and moves well for his size. Jason has a good combination of size and skill, making his game fit well for the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1489278" first="Luka" last="Toews"], Northfield Mount Hermon, HT 6’3, Position PG/SG

Luka is another talented prospect out of Northfield Mount Hermon. He has the skills to play at the division 1 college level, and already holds offers from Columbia, and Penn. Luka is very efficient, and a high percentage player. He is a high percentage player from the field, and from the free throw line. Luka can score the ball in multiple ways, and also be a facilitator as well. He makes players around him better. Luka can change speeds in an instant, and can get by the defense with his crossover, and dribble hesitation moves. Luka is a playmaker, with explosiveness. Luka should continue to gain stock in his junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1489311" first="Marcus" last="Lorgen"], Philips Exeter, (NH), HT 6’8, Position C

Marcus is a strong built, aggressive, and physical center. He is a back to the basket player, and can over power defenders with his strength, in the post. He can run the floor, and play above the rim. Marcus is a tough gritty player. Marcus has also improved his overall skill set, and that will help him as he moves on to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1489258" first="Nick" last="Petronio"], Milton Academy, AAU Expressions Elite, HT 6’4, Position CG

Nick is a high level guard. He can run the point, and also play the shooting guard. He has good size for the guard position. Nick already has division 1 offers from Brown, and sienna. That list will continue to get bigger. In a recent Nike EYBL circuit tournament, Nick was very efficient. He averaged 15 points, while shooting 50 percent from the field, and 52 percent from three point range. Nick is a leader on the floor, and a tough player, who you can tell is mentally tough as well. He is able to score in all three areas. He is a good shooter, with long range. He is a crafty player, with a soft touch around the rim. He can finish off one foot, or 2 feet. He also has a good floater. He has a high basketball IQ, and knows when to pass, pull up, or shoot. Nick is able to finish with contact, and draws a good amount of fouls. Nick is a crafty guard, who has the game, that will translate well to the next level.
