<p>In case you have been under a rug or just not in the loop, you might have missed the release of the latest rankings for the Class of 2024. However, I am here to catch you up! In this rankings overview for the class, we will review the top 10 players, new additions to the rankings, and highlight some players that have made moves up the rankings. With the team camp part of summer coming to a close and the grassroots season about to pick up again, this is a perfect time to update who is who in the class of 2024. </p>

<p>The top ten of the 2024 class has the makings of being one of those memorable classes in recent recruiting history. The top four players already have multiple DI offers. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1105554" first="Kameron" last="Williams"] </strong>is the top player and has been highly rated by Prep Hoops and ESPN. <strong> [player_tooltip player_id="1159181" first="Trey’Dez" last="Green"]</strong> is the top TE in the state as well as the top power forward in his class. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1105540" first="Todd" last="Jones"]</strong> out of Newman has made strides this summer under Coach Randy Livingston and is the third rated player. 6’8" forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1105536" first="Jeremiah" last="Evans"]</strong> (who has the scariest skill set) out of Southwood in Shreveport has gotten a lot of love from the in-state Division I schools as the 4th rated player. Rounding out the top five is <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1105547" first="Jordan" last="Moore"]</strong> of Shaun Dumas Academy who has his share of offers and interest around the country as well. </p>
<p>Northshore guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1145438" first="Kohen" last="Rowbatham"]</strong> is the sixth rated player. The scoring point guard is also a top football prospect in the state as well. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1218216" first="Jayce" last="Depron"]</strong> of Madison Prep, who recently received an offer from Hofstra, is seventh on this list. Multi-talented wing <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1218192" first="Wayne" last="Randall-Bashay"]</strong> is solidly in the 8th position. Rounding out the top ten is 6’7" forward/wing [player_tooltip player_id="1386535" first="Chad" last="Jones"] (9th) from St. Thomas More and combo guard/elite defensive back <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1105552" first="Kylan" last="Billiot"]</strong> (10th). </p>
<p><strong>New Entrants</strong></p>
<p>There were some top players added to the latest class of 2024 rankings. Pineville post <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1479618" first="Javonte" last="Thomas"], </strong>a top 20 player in the state, comes in at number 19. Northside wing <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1479622" first="Bri’trevian" last="Lee"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1479617" first="Demichael" last="Chew"]</strong> of Peabody are grassroots teammates with the Cenla Storm. They enter the rankings list in the top 30. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1480391" first="Allen" last="Graves"]</strong>, the talented forward from Ponchatoula breaks into the rankings as a top 25 player (#23). Buckeye point guard, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1476124" first="Karson" last="Mabou"]</strong>, was one of the point guards added to the rankings as he breaks into the rankings listed at 72. There were double digit additions to the rankings during this new release. </p>
<p><strong>Stock Risers</strong></p>
<p>Only a few players from the February rankings moved up the list. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1218215" first="Aries" last="Lewis"]</strong> of Port Allen was the player who saw the largest jump as he moved into the top 20 being ranked at 16th. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1386535" first="Chad" last="Jones"] </strong>of St. Thomas More went from right outside the top ten into the top ten solidly. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1218197" first="Justin" last="Dejoie"]</strong> of De La Salle is a shooting guard who has a big upside in football and basketball and point guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1105592" first="Collosians" last="Mason-Jones"] </strong>of BTW-Shreveport are the other players who made fairly big jumps in the rankings. </p>
