There was tons of talent in both the 17U and 16U division, and we’ll take a look at them starting with part five featuring some of the top 2025 and 2026 prospects in attendance.
Donovan Richardson | 6’5” WF | Team Richmond 17U 2025
Richardson recently reclassified to the 2025 class after a breakout season at Collegiate last year, and he’ll be one of the top players in the Richmond area to keep an eye on. At 6’5” he’s a versatile wing who can create his own shots off the bounce, he’s a good finisher at the rim and in the midrange in traffic and he has a natural feel for the game as a playmaker. He put up big numbers playing up on 17U against two good teams in VA Premier and Team Loaded and as he continues to get better he’ll be very intriguing to division one coaches.
Ashton Walker | 6’0” PG | Wave Basketball Club 16U 2025
One of the top young guards in the 757, the Salem (VB) lead guard is as shifty as they come and is highly skilled and cerebral for his age as well. He’s excellent handling pressure and can break defenders down off the bounce with his shiftiness and quickness, he’s an excellent finisher in traffic and can stick it from deep when left open and he controls the pace of the game and makes others better. He also has a toughness and chip to him that you can’t teach and he’s only going to get better as time moves on.
Masiah Stevens | 5’10” PG | Zay Todd Team Loaded VA 15U 2025
Stevens was a standout on a young and talented Woodside team that will be a handful for teams in the Peninsula District next year, and he had a good showing at the CBG event on a team that played up in the 16U division. The 5’10” guard is dynamic off the bounce with good quickness and change of directions, he can rise up and knock down shots from multiple levels off the bounce and he is a good on ball defender that moves his feet well and stays in front. He seems to have a chip to him and as he gets more consistent he’ll be a handful to deal with on both ends of the floor.
Colt Langdon Colt Langdon 6'7" | SG Millbrook | 2025 State #114 Nation NC | 6’5” WF | Zay Todd Team Loaded VA 15U 2025
Langdon is one of the top scorers I have watched in the 2025 class so far this summer, as the 6’5” wing is very versatile in his ability to put in the hole and is consistent and efficient in the ways he does. At 6’5” he has good length and is a good finisher at and above the rim, he can knock it down from deep both off the catch and off the bounce and he can get to spots in midrange going either way and make contested shots. He puts up big numbers consistently and finds his way to the line when it isn’t falling to see the ball go through and stay out of long shooting droughts.
Jackson Keith Jackson Keith 6'6" | CG Southern Durham | 2025 State #84 Nation NC | 6’5” WF | Zay Todd Team Loaded VA 15U 2025
Keith is another versatile scorer for this Loaded 15U group that will be very intriguing to watch develop with his size and raw skillset. The 6’5” wing is strong and athletic for his age, he knows how to get spots and use his body to finish through contact and he can make shots from all three levels with relative ease as well. He’s the type of guy that you can’t take away one part of his game because he’s such a mismatch he can find other ways to score throughout the day.
Aiden Smalls | 5’11” PG | Zay Todd Team Loaded VA 15U 2026
Smalls is just an eighth grader that plays up on the 15U team, and he’s an exceptional athlete who also is a star on the football team from what I’ve been told. He’s a strong guard with a lightning quick first step and gets in the lane at will, he can finish through contact and he is both a playmaker and a scorer at will when he needs to. The game seems to come easy to him and if he does choose basketball moving forward he’ll be a very impressive prospect moving forward.
