2025 Newcomers To Watch

<p>With the updates to our Prep Hoops NJ Rankings, many players have been added across all classes. Contributed in an impactful manner in every game. He’s quick and a solid defender. Good in the half court and has nice passing skills. He had 13 vs Rutgers Prep and 10 vs Roselle Catholic. Coaches Tavares and Garvin have their next quality big man. He’ll be the centerpiece of their guard heavy lineup. He’s got range beyond the arc but can also finish through contact. Good form on his shot. Tough defender who will mature into one of the top players in Hudson County by his senior year. He had 20 vs Bayonne.</span></p> <p style="margin-top: 0in; background: white;"><strong><span style="font-family: ’Lato’,sans-serif; color: #212529;">[player_tooltip player_id="1466431" first="Josh" last="Rodriguez"]</span></strong><span style="font-family: ’Lato’,sans-serif; color: #212529;"> | 6’1” | G | Hasbrouck Heights 2025</span></p> <p style="margin-top: 0in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: ’Lato’,sans-serif; color: #212529;">Rodriguez may be a little “under the radar” because he plays for Hasbrouck Heights, but he is a confident player on offense and hits the boards like a senior. He had 28 vs Becton and 23 vs Wood Ridge. He’s a multi sport guy who could have a college basketball future if he wanted to. </span></p>
