2024 Rankings Update: Standout Athletes

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1420312" first="Javon" last="Lowman"] - Vista Peak Prep</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1420312" first="Javon" last="Lowman"] is a 6’1 wing who plays bigger than his size using great athleticism and a long wingspan to make up for it. On the defensive end of the floor, he uses quick lateral movement and great defensive instincts to stay in front of defenders. Javon stands out with his physicality on the defensive end as he is an in-your-face defender who doesn’t allow players to get their spots easily. He also is good at jumping passing lanes to start fastbreaks. Javon has elite bounce and he can be seen in warmups throwing down crazy dunks, his go-to in-game is the tomahawk dunk. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1369791" first="Dominic" last="McLawrence"] - Mead</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1369791" first="Dominic" last="McLawrence"] is a lengthy wing who is a very good off-the-ball player. Dominic has good cutting instincts and looks best on the fastbreak where he is a great slasher who naturally finds the right spots when slashing. He gets a lot of air time, is a solid finisher, and draws a lot of fouls. On the defensive end of the floor, he uses his long arms and good lateral speed to bother defenders, deflecting plenty of passes. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1420418" first="Jordan" last="Wenger"] - The Classical Academy</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1420418" first="Jordan" last="Wenger"] is one of the top high jumpers in the state and shows off his elite bounce on the court. Jordan is a high flyer who throws down huge dunks, extending his arms out to make the dunks even more exhilarating. On the defensive end of the floor, he shows promise as a solid help-side defender who can use his athleticism to swat shots off the backboard. His best instincts on defense are when he is off of the ball, he uses his long arms and quick step to jump passing lanes.</p> <p><strong style="font-size: 1rem;">[player_tooltip player_id="1420308" first="Rifky" last="Sedhom"] - Arapahoe</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1420308" first="Rifky" last="Sedhom"] is a bulky guard who is a lockdown on-ball defender. Standing 5’11, Rifky is a player who can guard players taller than him by using good physicality and vertical leap to contest shots. On the offensive end, he has great instincts for finding the open and is a right-handed shooter who loves to finish with his left hand at the rim. Near the rim, he is a very creative finisher who makes tough shots through contact.</p>
