<p>Prep Hoops Missouri recently released its updated Class of 2023 rankings. We continue our positional breakdowns with a look at the first group of shooting guards/wings in the class.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1070092" first="Zaide" last="Lowery"] (Kickapoo): The 6’3" shooting guard is one of the most explosive players in the state and he has the skill set to go along with it. He’s a very capable playmaker and perimeter shooter who competes hard on the defensive end. He averaged 15.5 points and seven rebounds while shooting 38 percent from 3-point range. He recently gave a commitment to Marquette University in the Big East Conference.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1070097" first="Kobi" last="Williams"] (Westminster): The 6’3" guard is an outstanding two-way performer with excellent athleticism and a feel for the game. He has a nice pull up jumper and he can also score well off the ball. He also took over in some big games during the season. He is also a talented lockdown defender with excellent instincts. He averaged 13 points, three rebounds and three assists while shooting 49 percent from the field</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1070087" first="Kael" last="Combs"] (Nixa): The 6’4" lefty guard was a force in helping the Eagles to a berth in the Class 6 state championship game. He’s a strong secondary ball handler who can attack the rim with his athleticism or pull up for the 3-pointer. He’s a physical performer who can also use his strength to his advantage. He averaged 15 points, 4.1 rebounds and four assists while making 46 percent from 3-point range.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="981142" first="Jayden" last="Nicholson"] (Vashon): The versatile 6’5" lefty was an excellent all-purpose performer for the Wolverines, who won the Class 4 state championship. He uses his strength well to power his way to the basket on the drive and he can knock down shots from 3-point range. He’s a very active rebounder at both ends of the court. He averaged 11 points and seven rebounds while shooting 45 percent from 3-point range.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1070102" first="Justin" last="Duff"] (DeSmet): The 6’3" guard had a big junior season with his consistent perimeter shooting. His overall athleticism also emerged as he could attack off the dribble and beat aggressive close outs. He averaged 15.4 points a game while shooting 43 percent from 3-point range for the 19-9 Spartans.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1161287" first="Marqueas" last="Bell"] (Park Hill): The 6’3" lefty shooting guard went from one of the state’s top sixth men as a sophomore to a prime scoring weapon for the Trojans as a junior. The slender guard can slither in the lane with penetrating drives, but he also has a feathery touch from the perimeter. He put up some big scoring nights during the season. He averaged 19.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and two steals a game.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1162927" first="Camden" last="Bennett"] (St Joe Lafayette): A physical 6’3" guard who led the Fighting Irish to a Class 4 district championship. He can play bully-ball with his strength to get to the basket and score in traffic and he has a nice jumper to keep defenders at bay. He averaged 19 points and seven rebounds a game as a junior.</p>

He can score off the dribble very well and he also has very good playmaking skills as a ball handler and passer. He averaged a team-high 12.1 points and 4.2 rebounds a game.</p>

He can shoot it well off the catch and he also moves well and comes off the screens very effectively to get open for shots. He can also make a play off the dribble with his strength and crafty handles.</p>

The lefty can score on the drive, throw down dunks while also excelling on defense with his length and athleticism. He averaged 15 points and seven rebounds a game while shooting 57 percent from the field.</p>
