But without trying to make an all-inclusive list, here are some of the performances from top 16U Kansas guards (in alphabetical order):

, 6-foot guard, 2024, Sabetha HS, SSA Hoops Elite White:
Bauman was a warrior for SSA. He plays hard every second of the game, and brings a lot to the table. He’s solidly built and physical, which allows him to get where he wants with the ball. He pushes it to set up angles and finds teammates for shots. He can knock down the outside shot, and he makes a lot of plays at the defensive end with his intelligence and intensity.
Will Cravens, 6-foot-3 guard, 2024, Ellsworth HS, Kansas Team 2024 (pictured):
Wow. People who hadn’t seen Cravens before came away impressed. He get so off the floor with effortless spring. He surprises defenders with his quick jumper in the lane, which he releases very high. He can also drop 3-pointers and get to the line. Cravens has fun and plays hard. He’s got long limbs and quick feet to make plays at both ends. This is a player worth the price of attendance.

, 6-foot-1 guard, 2024, Shawnee Heights HS, SSA Hoops Elite Black:
At first glance, you might wonder what makes Dodge special. But watch a few minutes. It will come. He finds ways to make plays, and he’s a dead-eye from distance. He does the fundamental things like feed the post off the pick and roll, make nice entry passes and take care of the ball under pressure. He is really good at hitting from deep off a screen.
Rayvelle Leak, 5-foot-11 guard, 2024, Wichita East HS, Wichita Magic:
Leak played up with the Wichita Magic 2023 club, but he wasn’t backing down from anyone. He’s powerfully built but lightning quick. He can turn a scramble for a loose ball into a layup in a hurry. He gets up in the face of an offensive player and frustrates them. He is slick with the ball and hit a few threes during the weekend too.
Tesean Williams Tesean Williams 5'7" | PG Wichita Northwest | 2024 State KS , 5-foot-9 guard, 2024, Wichita Northwest HS, Team Dream:
Williams was a productive backup for a really good Grizzlies team, but he is unleashed again to do his thing on the club circuit. He did plenty at Wichita to remind why he was so highly rated coming out of last summer. In pretty much every game, he was the quickest, most skilled guard on the floor. He’s not a big guy, but that doesn’t keep him from making plays in the paint. He races around the court leaving guys in his dust and feeding his teammates with open shots because he breaks defenses down so routinely.
