With all the top notch talent that will be in the buildong, we decided to look at 6 more must see players at Rumble In The Rapids.
Reis Butcher Reis Butcher 6'4" | SF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2024 State IN (2024, CG, INB Elite 2024, Brebeuf Jesuit)
Butcher has had a huge spring. Throughout the spring Prep Hoops Circuit, he seems to always be one of best 2024’s in the building. Butcher is a long scorer that can attack his defender in a variety of ways. He’ll be a must see player at Rumble In The Rapids.
Micah Saunders Micah Saunders 6'0" | SG Adrian | 2023 FL (2023, G/F, Midwest Stampede, Adrian)
I saw a lot of Saunders last weekend and this young man has found his groove. His 3 point shot in much improved and he looks comfortable and balanced on nearly every one. Saunders is an elite overall athlete that can get to the rim and finish through contact. He’s developed into a terrific leader as well.
Grady Schippers Grady Schippers 6'5" | PF Allendale | 2023 State MI (2023, PF, WM Lakers 2023 Gold, Allendale)
Schippers is a beast and is so tough to handle in the paint. He can bully his way around the rim and is so tough to keep out of his spots. Schippers is the type of player that you have to defend way before he gets the ball. If you don’t he’ll probably have a good look at the bucket.
Jake Stephens Jake Stephens 6'3" | CG Chelsea | 2024 State MI (2024, CG, DV45 2024, Chelsea)
Stephens is underrated as a player and as an overall athlete. He’s a playmaker on the offensive end and can get buckets in transition as well as in a half court set. Stephens has been a tough scorer this spring, showing a smooth jumper and the ability to finish tough at the rim.
Sean Sullivan Sean Sullivan PG Grand Rapids Catholic Central | 2025 MI (2025, PG, WM Lakers 2024 Blast, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)
Sullivan is a ranked point guard and a high upside talent. He’s playing very good basketball and even earned a Top Performer designation last week at Havoc In The Heartland. If you want to see one of the top up and coming lead guards, Sullivan is a good one to watch.
Brent Wofford Brent Wofford SG Mt. Morris | 2025 State MI (2025, SG, CMB Runnin Rebels 2025, Mt. Morris)
Wofford is proving why he’s a highly ranked prospect in the class of 2025. He just makes plays. Wofford has been one of those players that changes the momentum when his team needs it. He has a nice combination of strength and shiftiness that makes him a tough cover.
