Tarik Bicic Tarik Bicic 6'5" | SG Rutherford | 2024 NY | 6’5” | G | Rutherford
A do it all stat filler for a very good Rutherford program that won 22 games last winter. Excellent ballhandler who attacks the basket exceptionally well and can also extend his range well beyond the arc. Crafty around the rim. He will be one of the top players in not just the NJIC but the entire county as a senior. Over 400 pts, 200 rebounds and 200 assists as a junior—No, that’s not a typo. He had 25 vs Plainfield, 20 vs Glen Rock and 18 vs St Marys of Rutherford. He should be highly sought after by a plethora of schools at various levels.
Essam Assaf Essam Assaf 6'1" | CG Elmwood Park | 2023 State NJ | 6’0” | G | Elmwood Park
A well rounded guard who will pass 1,000 points early in his senior year. Assaf is at this best when he can get out in transition on the fast break in the open court, but can also extend his range beyond the arc. Went over 20 on 9 occasions, including 28&11 vs Hawthorne and 27&11 vs Glen Rock. D3 schools should be paying attention to him over the next year.
David Forzani | 5’9” | G | Elmwood Park
Assaf’s backcourt running mate also returns for his senior year following a big outing as a junior. He’s a hard nosed, pass first point guard who is unafraid to attack players much bigger than him and finish through contact. Had 31 vs Lodi and 28 vs Westwood as top games his junior year. D3s should be following him through his senior year.
Ermal Kuci | 6’5” | F | Lodi
A big bodied forward who runs the floor well and is active on defense. Patient, plays within himself on the defensive side—Had 5 blocks vs Passaic. Lefty who can step back and hit threes. Still growing into his frame. As his ball handling continues to improve, he’ll become a bigger force to be reckoned with as a senior. He had 20 boards vs Pompton Lakes and a host of double-doubles. He averaged 12 and 11 as a junior and should be of interest to D3s in the Northeast.
