[player_tooltip player_id="926912" first="Sawyer" last="Thompson"] - Power Circle EKY | Wolfe County

From the opening tip, Thompson is an immediate threat from long range. Combined with being a scrappy, tough defender, Thompson was one of the gems from the weekend.

Ashton Reynolds - Griffin Elite/Perry | Whitley County

Reynolds is an explosive, shifty guard that attacks the paint with aggression. In transition or in the half-court, Reynolds will look to press the ball to the paint. As the game wears on, you’ll find the defenders begin back peddling to stay in front of the ball. Look for Reynolds to develop a quick dribble pull-up as the summer season approaches.

[player_tooltip player_id="1221671" first="Mason" last="Guffey"] - KY Select | Taylor County

Guffey was the best all-around player for his group. He was active on defense and does a great job creating offensive for himself and his teammates. He had several good moments in transition that led to quality shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065571" first="Lavonte" last="Harris"] - Louisville Storm | Jeffersontown

Harris continues to impress scouts and coaches as he is developing into an all-around scorer. He showcased his refined jump shot by knocking down several from long range. Harris punished defenders in the paint by punching a few dunks including the dunk of the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="1388438" first="Koji" last="Anderson"] (2022) - Louisville Storm | DuPont Manual

Anderson is a poised guard that lets his offensive develop. He is rarely out of control despite constantly shifting gears and creating space.

Wadang Wel - Griffin Elite/White | Apollo

His length and athleticism were eye-catching to any spectator. Wel spent most of his energy near the paint but showcased his ability to shoot from outside as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1191947" first="Marcus" last="Eaves"] - Griffin Elite/White | Hopkins County Central

Eaves is a pure playmaker. He lives in the paint and has great finishing ability with either hand. He isn’t afraid of contact and did a solid job changing pace with the ball. On top of all that, he is a willing defender that turns deflections into transition opportunities constantly.

Max Van Dyke - Cave Gym Elite/Red | Paul Laurence Dunbar

Part of an ongoing breakout spring for Van Dyke, he had another impressive outing. He’s no longer exclusively a spot-up shooter; he is developing into a quality overall scorer.

Jaden Green (2022) - Cave Gym Elite/Red | Bryan Station

Green is a strong guard that uses his body control to his advantage. He displayed great paint awareness making high-level decisions nearly every possession.
