Prep Hoops will be hosting a big event in Indianapolis this weekend as the Havoc in the Heartland comes to town featuring some of the Prep Hoops Circuit’s best teams along with programs from the Nike EYBL, Adidas Gold, UA Rise, and NY2LA circuits. As always, our staff will have boots on the ground providing wall-to-wall coverage of this event, along with the Adidas May Classic which is always taking place this weekend in Indianapolis. We will beginning previewing the event today with five Indiana programs you should get eyes on in the 15u age division.

EG10 2025

This group has been one of the consistently better 15u teams on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring. They also are coming off of an impressive victory over Indy Heat EYBL at the Run N Slam recently. EG10 is a balanced team that can get production from a variety of different players in a given game. [player_tooltip player_id="1297023" first="Eric" last="Hopson"] (Decatur Central H.S. 2025) is probably the top prospect with his excellent athleticism and playmaking ability, but he is surrounded by plenty of talent as well. [player_tooltip player_id="1297034" first="Hudson" last="Horvath"] (North Central H.S. 2025) is a smaller guard with a ton of skill that has really burst onto the scene so far this AAU season. His scoring ability has led EG10 to some big wins. Other prospects like Terrell Irons (Avon H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id="1139221" first="Caleb" last="Wright"] (Sheridan H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id="1381461" first="Zion" last="Bellamy"] (Kokomo H.S. 2025), and [player_tooltip player_id="1296990" first="Cal" last="Bostic"] (Park Tudor 2025) help to round out an impressive core of talent.

Mac Irvin Fire 2025 EYBL

I’ve had the opportunity to watch this 15u Mac Irvin Fire team a few times this spring and they are an extremely impressive group. Led by [player_tooltip player_id="1385293" first="Bryce" last="Heard"] (Kenwood Academy 2025) who is ranked as a Top 25 prospect nationally in the Class of 2025 and already several Division I offers, Mac Irvin has a ton of talent. 6’8" big man [player_tooltip player_id="1285519" first="Stefan" last="Cicic"] (Notre Dame College Prep) and [player_tooltip player_id="1252217" first="Kaden" last="Magwood"] (Western H.S. 2025) are also big time prospects that played at a high level in April. However, it is [player_tooltip player_id="1385283" first="Aleks" last="Alston"] (Kenwood Academy 2025) who continues to catch my eye the most. A 6’7" versatile forward with great length, Alston is simply full potential. Already holds offers from New Mexico State and Western Illinois.

Team GRIII Elite 2025

Team GRIII Elite is a balanced group that has gotten better throughout the spring on the Prep Hoops Circuit. A couple of the most impressive prospects through April have been [player_tooltip player_id="1297030" first="Grant" last="Best"] (Mount Carmel H.S. 2025) and Anthony Murphy (Michigan City H.S. 2025). Best is a skilled guard who can score it in a variety of ways in the backcourt. Murphy is a long, athletic guard with a nice shooting stroke and can create his own shot. Both have been top scorers consistently for Team GRIII. Other guys like Ben Whitaker (Crown Point H.S. 2025) and Kelvion Brown (Merrillville H.S. 2025) have had good springs as well.
