Hayden Goff 6’0’’ CYAL Rebels
Hayden throughout the tournament did a great job at controlling the point guard position. It was clear he can knock down three-point shots but what stuck out most to me were things that don’t show up on the stat sheet, such as, controlling the tempo of the game and continuously picking up his man full court.

If there’s one thing we know about Marshall boys from White River, it’s that they are TOUGH. The biggest strength that Nic brought to the table is his willingness to compete on the defensive end. That, in addition to leading his team at the point guard position, helped his team finish 4-0.

Jacoby had a great all-around weekend for the Attack. When he got downhill it was extremely difficult to stop him. Jacoby’s team played some great opponents and he was able to handle the pressure that they put on him. In addition, Jacoby was a competitive defender and rebounded well in traffic to solidify his great weekend.

JT was an absolute force to be reckoned with. He holds multiple D1 scholarships and he showed why this weekend. For a seven-footer, he is extremely skilled. He finished with multiple dunks off of post touches, mid-range fade-aways that are impossible to block, and three-point shots when his defender didn’t close out on the perimeter.

Lane was a big part of a fantastic high school season for the Groton Tigers who made it to the state tournament this past season. This weekend it showed how he helped his team get there. Every game, Lane found ways to score at every level. Lane filled it up from three-point territory, finishes at the rim, and even scored in the mid-range.
