The Class of 2025 is strong in South Florida. For context, nine players are inside the top 25 in our rankings.

Those prospects and everyone in the class are currently working on the circuit in preparation for possible college offers. Moreover, summer practice could translate to improved play during the high school season.

Which prospects deserve college looks?

Here are some picks..

[player_tooltip player_id="1301716" first="Marcus" last="Perrier"] - Cardinal Gibbons

[player_tooltip player_id="1301716" first="Marcus" last="Perrier"] is a versatile prospect on the floor. Perrier is growing at 6-foot-3 and has guard ability. He can move in the open floor and rise above in transition on the fast break. Perrier shot 45 percent from the floor and 37 percent from deep for the Chiefs. His athletic ability also contributed to 126 total rebounds (5.5 rpg). Perrier was the only listed freshman on Cardinal Gibbons this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1450207" first="Gustavo" last="Guimaraes"] - Westminster Academy

[player_tooltip player_id="1450207" first="Gustavo" last="Guimaraes"] is the next talented big man in South Florida. The approaching 6-foot-10 forward is becoming quick in his footwork and post moves. More so, Guimaraes should be able to run the floor and be a factor in transition. I’d expect him to become more of an inside-out player in due time. I think his shooting versatility will be a tough matchup for opponents. Guimaraes can already rebound at a high rate and finish around the rim thanks to his frame.

[player_tooltip player_id="1301731" first="Malachi" last="Martis"] - Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian Academy

An offer from St. John’s should be one of many for [player_tooltip player_id="1301731" first="Malachi" last="Martis"]. The 6-foot-4 prospect moves well on the floor while having solid size to play multiple positions. Martis can easily play the two or three at this point. In addition, Martis has a strong handle and can create off the dribble. His frame is also tough to contain while driving to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="1301708" first="Benny" last="Fragela"] - Miami Columbus

[player_tooltip player_id="1301708" first="Benny" last="Fragela"] is one of the best outside shooters in the area. The 6-foot-2 guard is efficient off the catch-and-shoot from beyond the arc. Fragela can also go to his left or right and knockdown perimeter shots at a high rate. He hit 80 3-pointers at a 36 percent clip as a freshman for the 7A state champions.

Watch list:

[player_tooltip player_id="1301740" first="Maddox" last="Fowles"] - Western

[player_tooltip player_id="1301740" first="Maddox" last="Fowles"] should grow into his frame. The 6-foot-6 forward should develop and excel based off his size alone. Fowles’ progression is something to be on the lookout for.
