Sharp Shooting Name of Game in Team GRIII 17U Win over Fifa Elite
Team GRIII came out swinging ready to protect their home turf being from Indiana! They beat Fifa Elite 63-33. AJ Lux was the star of the night for Team GRIII. The 2023 wing was straight money from distance in their victory. Clean shot with free and easy release. He netted 20 points including six triples. Brandon Trilli was another wing that caught our attention. Pop with his movements and did a little bit of everything in a 16 point performance. Landen Babusiak has legit size inside and the unsigned 2022 provided tougness.
Fifa Elite was pushed by 2024 shooting guard Kohen Rowbatham. Power guard that can really let it fly scoring 17 points on tough drives and three long balls. Projectable long term prospect to track is 6’7” four Ronneal Howard. Boyncy 2023 post that finished dump offs and rim runs.
Full Package 17U Makes Statement With Win Over Iowa Barnstormers
This was the game everyone had circled! Two of top PHC teams. Full Package won 73-59. Early on it was Mark Nikolich-Wilson. The Rolling Meadows post is Cameron Krutwig lite. Skilled wide post that that can pass, handle, rebound, and finish! Benet 2023 small forward Nikola Absura is a geat glue guy that brings skill across the board and plays good defense. Then sharp shooter New Trier’s Jake Fiegen hit about five triples in a row! Lights out sharp shooter filled it up!
Iowa Barnstormers top performer was strong bodied guard Da’shon Fisher. He had a couple high flying dunks that got the crowd going. Finished well on drives and overall was their most assertive player.
Young Talent Shines in Canada Elite 15U UAA Win Over LA Broncos 16U
Two prospects jumped off the floor as potential mid-major plus or high-major guys in the finale. Babatunde “Tunde” Durodola is a 6’7” long and athletic small forward that showed off his versatility as a defender in the first half swatting shots and moving his feet. Second half he took over scoring on slick takes, corner three, and getting on the glass.
LA Broncos 2024 power forward Treydez Green from Louisiana stands at 6’8” with a great frame. Lefty was most effective as a dive threat, rim runner, & using his mobility inside. He had 22 points on the night!
Quick Hitters
Couple prospects from M14 National 17U caught our attentiin in the first half. Derek Schlenbecker is a small lead guard that plays with flair. Bullet passes and solid lefty shot. Power wing Jeremiah Akin is productive kid scoring in the paint.
Mac Irvin Fire 17U has alot of unsigned senior talent. They were led by Carmel 2022 wing Asher Jackson who drained four triples for 14 points. St Viator 2023 point guard Hunter Duncan is a flashy guard that got in the lane and to the line. Also 2026 superstar Tim Winkler scored 5 points including a three and foul on spin move. The future IMG star might be the best incoming freshman of the country.
