– Hoops Academy
Karnisovas proved his ability as a quick, rangy driver getting to the basket while also proving his jump shot is dependable off the catch. Standing at roughly 6’6 with a 6’8 wingspan, the wing averaged 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game caught eyes all weekend thanks to his myriad of transition dunk packages. In the half-court, he did well cutting off-ball where he was able to finish either with a powerful slam or through a crafty reverse layup. Defensively, he surprised in part due to his weak side shot blocking but mainly because he could keep up with smaller guards one on one. Karnisovas will be heading to Tilton Prep after this summer, where he will likely attract more offers.

The point guard uses his IQ well in the halfcourt and doubles down as a mid-range scorer thanks to his strong frame at 6’1, 175 lbs. Wedgeworth also does great using his hips on both ends, digging into opponents as a way of moving them off the line. Another aspect of Wedgeworth’s physicality has been his ability to grab defensive rebounds and push the pace through whoever tries to stop him.

Regis Jesuit | 2022
State
CO
– Hoops Academy (pictured above)
The Regis Jesuit wing stands at 6’5, with a 6’7 wingspan, he is more than capable of taking advantage of smaller defenders in the post or taking you out to the perimeter for a three. The wing has a high release point that is tough to block, especially when he goes for a pullup jumper. Yost has been especially potent as a strong bodied driver, especially when going in with the left hand, where his triple threat confidence creates him quite a few opportunities down low. Whether he is looking to kick out, shoot a fadeaway, or use a duck in, Yost remained a consistent threat all weekend with roughly 15 points per game and 6 rebounds.
Davian Bryant – Colorado Miners 17u
Bryant stands at roughly 6’6 as an athletic, energizing forward willing to do the dirty work on both ends. He was potent on defense thanks to his fairly quick feet, allowing him to switch against most competition with ease. Bryant is still working on his offensive toolbox, however he did hit a few threes off the catch and scored at the cup by staying aggressive on closeouts.
Jay Sanders – Hoops Academy
Standing at 5’10 with a 6’1 wingspan at 170 pounds, Sanders did well as an aggressive defender and selfless playmaker. Averaging roughly 5-6 assists along with 3 steals per game, Sanders served as the connector for a potent offensive group all weekend. Offensively, Sanders did well capitalizing what the defense gave him, playing off of poor rotations or attacking the paint quickly out of pick and roll. Defense is Sanders’ calling card where he dives for loose balls about as much as anyone with no refrain for the opponent.

served as the gritty swiss army knife option on defense. Typically tasked with defending the opponent’s big man, Harp averaged a steady dose of 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks a game. He is a wiry strong athlete who enjoys doing the dirty work like battling in the paint against anyone, diving for loose balls, and staying active at all times.
