Next Step C/O 2023 Forward Prospects

<p>Trinity Christian Forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="992925" first="Steven" last="Lassiter"]</strong> put together an outstanding 2020-2021 season, leading the Crusaders with 20 Points per game as they finished just under .500 for the season. He battled some injuries late in the season and in the spring which hasn’t allowed him to fully show what he can be but the 6’6 Forward is clearly a player that college should be on. </p>
<p>Scotland County Forward<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="1128969" first="Lamonte" last="Cousar"]</strong> put the state on notice with his play this past season, although his team struggled overall, he was outstanding and caught the attention of college coaches. Averaging close to 20 Points and 10 rebounds per contest, he understands how to use his physicality to make plays, but he can also step outside the paint and score from the perimeter.</p>
<p>St. Pauls HS Forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1384476" first="Marcus" last="Galbreath Jr"].</strong> will be a player that has a larger role on his team this season and we are already seeing some flashes of that during the Spring as he plays with Acts Elite. The 6’8 prospect has a nice skillset, plenty of upside, and the ability to make a nice number of plays on both ends of the court that already has college coaches intrigued.</p>
<p>Hertford County Forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="854912" first="Israel" last="Powell"]</strong> will be a player to keep a close eye on over the next months as he has plenty of the traits that could make him a prospect that colleges are calling about. He has the combination of size, strength and a quick first step that allows him to score the ball in multiple ways. </p>
<p>Cox Mill HS Forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1368000" first="Titus" last="Ivy"]</strong> put together an impressive Junior season and will be a player that could very well see his recruitment continue to rise over the summer. He’s an athletic wing that makes a high impact on games on both ends of the floor and is the type of player that can have a huge impact on games without having any plays specifically being drawn up for him.</p>
