Jamariea Dalton Jamariea Dalton 6'3" | SG Fond Du Lac | 2023 State WI — SG — E2E Elite 17U
I really like Dalton as a scorer and slasher. On Sunday morning he scored well, but I thought that he could have been even more aggressive. When Dalton was attacking the rim, good things normally happened for his team. The shooting guard is a terrific ball handler that uses his speed and handles to get to the rim and finish. Coming off a productive junior season at Fon Du Lac, I am looking for Dalton to continue to impress this spring. Look for some college coaches to get involved with Dalton’s recruitment in the near future.
Ac Strok Ac Strok 6'4" | PG New Glarus | 2023 WI — SG — Wisconsin Academy 17U
Strok was a major reason why Wisconsin Academy was able to pull off a huge victory over E2E Elite. Academy was trailing big in the first half. And it was Strok who stepped up in the second half. He tallied eight huge points in the second period. Strok is a deadly shooter from deep who defenders have to respect. Strok has played really well this weekend in Appleton.
Theo Schofield Theo Schofield 6'5" | PF Waterloo | 2024 State WI — PF — Wisconsin Academy 16U
Standing a 6-foot-5 with a strong build, Schofield is a huge problem for opposing defenders in the paint. A lot of bigger and stronger players like to float around on the perimeter in today’s modern game. Not Schofield. He uses his size to dominate. On Sunday morning, he was bullying defenders. He was able to use pure strength to get layups. I also thought that the power forward prospect played tough defense and rebounded well.
Justin Jones — PG — Gallo Sports Center 16U
Although he is playing on a 2024 team, Jones is actually a 2025 prospect. But you really can’t tell by watching him play. Jones is a mature lead guard that always seems to make the right play. And for a younger prospect, he has some serious skills. The point guard has a tight handle and is very good about using it to get to the rim. At the rim, he does a good job of converting with either hand. I think that Jones is going to be a prospect to watch in the 2025 class. On Sunday, he struggled to get his shots to fall but I was still impressed with Jones’ overall game.
Alex Loomis — SF — Gallo Sports Center 16U
I really like the skill set that Loomis brings. He is a lanky 6-foot-5 small forward who can put the ball on the deck and score well. He uses his size to finish at the rim over opposing defenders. He has phenomenal touch around the rim. I think that he could end up being a really good defender, too. Loomis already has the frame. If he continues to add new elements to his game, I think he could carve up opposing defenses for years to come.
Adam Labuda Adam Labuda 6'3" | SG Lockport Township | 2023 State IL — SG — Illinois T-Wolves 17U
Labuda’s play this weekend in Appleton was a big reason why his Illinois T-Wolves squad was able to exit Madness In The Midwest with a perfect record of 4-0. The shooting guard was at his best on Sunday morning. He made shots from deep, rebounded well, and made tough layups at the rim. Labuda tallied 17 points in the winning effort. Look for the SG to continue this momentum into May.
