This second live period of the AAU season was this past weekend and I was able to get out to the Pacers Athletic Center to check out all the action. D1 coaches were out in full force to see tons of high level prospects. Among those high level prospects was Indy Heat and I was able to watch both 17u and 16u squads. Below is a general notebook of what I saw from both teams.

Indy Heat 17u

Player Notes and Stats:

[player_tooltip player_id="932764" first="Kaleb" last="Glenn"]: 11.5 ppg - Absolute beast of a power forward. Has a little bit of guard in him. So athletically gifted.

[player_tooltip player_id="939058" first="Jeremy" last="Fears"]: 11.2 ppg - The Michigan State bounds guard looked electric as always. Bringing that prep school ball experience here to EYBL.

[player_tooltip player_id="868228" first="Jermaine" last="Coleman"]: 7.8 ppg - Showed tremendous athletic ability when scoring. Can shoot the ball very well and capable defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="1042491" first="Sam" last="Orme"]: 5.5 ppg - Could make a case as the smoothest shooter this entire weekend. Looks to have added size to his already lanky, tall frame. Had multiple schools out watching him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1042497" first="Zane" last="Doughty"]: 3.3 ppg - Was a force on the defensive end and boards. Averaged 6.8 rpg.

[player_tooltip player_id="932767" first="Jacob" last="Meyer"]: 10.3 ppg - The Western Kentucky guard is so tough and scores at a very high level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1088851" first="Reece" last="Potter"]: 4.0 ppg - Lanky and has a ton of length. Not the strongest big but can protect the rim and rebound.

[player_tooltip player_id="868223" first="Dravyn" last="Gibbs-Lawhorn"]: 21.0 ppg - Easily was the best player on the floor at all times. Purdue bound guard plays with a high motor and brings the electricity.

General Team Notes:

1-2 punch of Doughty and Potter is real impressive

Team is loaded with size, strength, and athleticism

Gibbs-Lawhorn is a straight up dawg

Orme is raising his stock, improved overall game

The battles of Fears and Gibbs-Lawhorn in the Big Ten is going to be awesome for years to come

Indy Heat 16u

Player Notes and Stats:

[player_tooltip player_id="1297118" first="Trent" last="Sisley"]: 12.3 ppg - Plays his tail off and with an incredibly high motor. Needs more work on his outside shot but is a force down low.

[player_tooltip player_id="1297052" first="Jalen" last="Haralson"]: 18.3 ppg - Every game had tons of coaches watching because of him. Game comes natural. So much upside.

[player_tooltip player_id="1275779" first="Kanon" last="Catchings"]: 12.5 ppg - provided some sneaky high level scoring. Really athletic and has a real high vertical.

[player_tooltip player_id="1275780" first="Micah" last="Davis"]: 13.8 ppg - Davis is consistently improving. Starting to gain attention from bigger schools.

General Team Notes:

The 2025's of Sisley and Haralson play so well off one another

Buy stock in Catchings, he is going to break out soon

Every single player on this team has high end talent

Team can get a little careless with the ball at times

Tough, defensive-minded unit
