G Tyler Haney Tyler Haney 6'1" | CG Sun Prairie | 2025 State WI , United Hoops – Sun Prairie (WI), 2025
Haney put on a sensational performance in his first outing of the spring. The 5’10” guard dropped 29 points against EzWork Elite and scored in all different ways. Went on a stretch where he hit several threes in a row. Also displayed abilities as a slashing guard. But he contributed in all aspects of the game. Intercepted several passes, blocked shots, grabbed rebounds and found open teammates for assists.
G Connor Williams, Chicago Lockdown – Stagg, 2024
Williams did some excellent work on offense Saturday morning. 6’1″ guard knocked down several three pointers with a nice shooting stroke. Also made some key plays on defense with a couple nice pass deflections. His passing game is underrated too as he created some nice plays in transition.
G Elias Vargas, Quad Cities Shockers – Davenport Central, 2025
The 5’8” guard showed a variety of skills to start the day. Has a longer wingspan for his size, can finish in traffic, and excellent court awareness on both ends of the floor. Finished with 18 points and numerous assists. If Vargas can grow. few more inches, he can be one of Iowa’s next elite guards.
G Michael Jalil, Illinois Elite – Rockford Guilford, 2025
Jalil put on an impressive showing Saturday morning for Illinois Elite. Attacked the basket and filled open lanes with ease. Finished with 16 points.
G Nicholas Keyser, Wisconsin Hoops Select – Sauk Prairie, 2025
The 5’11” guard scored buckets in all sorts of ways against Quad Cities Shockers. Has a very smooth stroke from long-range. Also not afraid to hit mid-range shots. Attacked the basket real well. Keyser scored 22 points as Wisconsin Hoops pulled away with the win.
F Treyvon Taylor, EzWork Elite – Moline, 2025
Despite the loss, Taylor had a sensational outing and displayed a variety of skills Saturday morning. Used his big body to finish through contact down low. Showed lots of physicality. Barely missed any shots in the paint and went 3-for-3 from the free throw line. He also had an impressive run where he assisted on three straight possessions. Taylor isn’t afraid to let it fly from deep either. The big man from Moline has a bright future.
