The athletic talent in South Florida is endless.

Most schools in other states do not have multiple college prospects on one team. That goes for any division or even kids good enough to play junior college. Its a testament to the product and quality of play we have in this area.

With that, I would like to look at some of the best pairs of prospects on one team. This list excludes graduating players.

[player_tooltip player_id="709215" first="Marvel" last="Allen"]/[player_tooltip player_id="709228" first="Carl" last="Cherenfant"] - Calvary Christian Academy

2022’s [player_tooltip player_id="709215" first="Marvel" last="Allen"] and [player_tooltip player_id="709228" first="Carl" last="Cherenfant"] are two of the best backcourt prospects in the country. I think they complement each other well and have won two state championships. The pair combined to average 25.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, five assists and 3.4 steals per game. Allen is a 5-star prospect while Cherenfant is a 4-star recruit. Allen recently decommited from LSU and has once again see his recruitment heat up. Cherenfant holds offers from at least seven D-1 programs. Look for them to be prime favorites to 3-peat with Calvary Christian Academy under head coach Cilk McSweeney. The program has had a remarkable amount of success here in South Florida.

[player_tooltip player_id="1301714" first="Cameron" last="Boozer"]/[player_tooltip player_id="1301715" first="Cayden" last="Boozer"] - Miami Columbus

Almost every outlet has Cameron and [player_tooltip player_id="1301715" first="Cayden" last="Boozer"] as top 25 recruits in the Class of 2025. Cameron is a 6-foot-8 forward with a strong upper body. He also moves like a guard and can score out to the 3-point line. Boozer shot 40 percent from deep while averaging 18.9 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. Cayden is a 6-foot-4 guard that can score at will off his elite explosiveness and handle. He averaged 16.6 points and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 62 percent from the field. You’re talking about two unstoppable players who still have three years of high school left.

[player_tooltip player_id="1301705" first="Alexander" last="Lloyd"]/[player_tooltip player_id="709227" first="Jaylen" last="Carey"] - Westminster Academy

Lloyd is another top freshman in the country. The 6-foot-4 guard was selected second team Freshman All-American by MaxPreps. Lloyd averaged 23.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 47 percent from the field. I think you will see his decision making take another step into his sophomore season. Lloyd already has some of the best bounce in all of South Florida. The 6-foot-8 Carey should continue to be a problem the more he can stretch the floor. You won’t find many kids with his power at the four. I’m very high on Westminster Academy next season because of these two.

[player_tooltip player_id="962569" first="Kyle" last="McNeal"]/Blake Wilson - Dwyer

2022’s [player_tooltip player_id="962569" first="Kyle" last="McNeal"] and Blake Wilson are two of the top players in Palm Beach County. The pair combined to average 27.1 points, 11.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game. McNeal can fly up and down the court while Wilson is a dangerous 3-point shooter.

Calvin Sirmans/[player_tooltip player_id="1408957" first="Marvin" last="Golf"] - Lake Worth

Another top pair of rising seniors are Calvin Sirmans and [player_tooltip player_id="1408957" first="Marvin" last="Golf"]. The duo helped Lake Worth achieve a 21-4 record and 7A final four appearance as juniors. Sirmans is a shifty point guard while Golf is an efficient forward with athleticism around the paint. They combined to average over 31 points and nearly 11 rebounds per game.
