Ashton Arnold Memorial Tourney: Young Lads

<p>Prep Hoops headed to the Upstate to attend the 12th Annual Ashton Arnold Memorial Tourney in Greenville this weekend. The event featured over 100 plus teams from age brackets to the 2nd grade up hosted by Hardwood Inc. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1419742" first="DJ" last="Martin"] (2025) - 1 SC Elite 2025 - Fountain Inn HS (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Martin a point guard plays at the new school Fountain Inn HS which just opened up in the Fall of 2021. DJ a left-handed point guard never seemed to leave the floor for the 1 SC Elite 2025 squad. Martin plays the game with a fearless mindset at times while looking to push the tempo every time he touched it. Deaver had a nice shot release and always seemed shot ready to shoot the ball. Obie plays the game extremely hard and isn’t afraid to use up his 5 fouls and play the game on contact. He plays the game very aggressive (Glasses fell off 3 times) today while in pursuit of the ball. He really does a good job of understanding how to get the ball in his hands and knocking down open shots.
