Marcus Johnson, 6’0 PG Garfield Heights 2026 – Wildcats Select 15 U: Johnson is one of three northeast Ohio products playing up a grade on this Wildcats Select squad. Johnson is an elite shooter and scorer with the ability to knock down shots from a few feet behind the 3-point line. Johnson is also a dangerous attacker when going left as his handle allows him to create space to finish around the basket. I thought Johnson also passed the ball well above expectations for a prospect who is a rising freshman. Johnson is one of the more hyped-up players in the 2026 class in the nation and showed why this weekend.
Brayden Fogle, 6’4 PF Lexington 2026 – Wildcats Select 15 U: Fogle also stood out playing a year up for the Wildcats as the lefty wing forward was very productive around the basket. Fogle is an explosive athlete who rose up above defenders to finish around the basket. I liked Fogle’s first step with the ball and his ability to pass out of the high post. Fogle is another one of the top 2026 prospects in Ohio.
Eli Roberts, 6’5 SF South Webster 2025 – Wildcats Select 15 U: Roberts showed off his talents this weekend in front of a lot more eyes and against a lot better talent than he saw during the high school season in southeast Ohio. Roberts is a fluid athlete at 6’5 with explosive vertical pop to throw down some impressive dunks and block shots on the defensive end. Roberts also knocked down two spot-up 3-pointers, a skill that will be very important against top competition when he plays off ball more. I’m very intrigued by Roberts and firmly believe he’s the next Division I prospect to come out of southeast Ohio.
Nikola Bundalo, 6’7 PF Uniontown Green 2025 – Wildcats Select 15 U: Bundalo once again impressed after playing well in the regional round of the playoffs for Green as a strong first impression. Bundalo rebounds the ball at a high level with his height and motor. Bundalo makes shots from the outside and competes inside. Bundalo has shown the ability to impact the game without needing the ball in his hands, which is important for a young prospect.
Jaiden Arnold, 5’10 PG Princeton 2025 – Midwest Basketball Club 15 U: Arnold was a top performer for Midwest Basketball Club as the small quick PG was tough to contain all weekend. Arnold had multiple 15+ point scoring games, getting to the basket often in transition and half-court situations. I liked Arnold’s pace with the ball in his hands and his pull-up jumper from 12-18 feet was money. The two big questions right now for Arnold will be how much he grows and how well does he shoot the 3-pointer after making a lot of mid-range shots this weekend. Time will tell for both questions as I’m excited to see the continued development of Arnold as a prospect.
