Poet Davis Poet Davis 5'11" | SG Minneapolis South | 2024 State MN of Minneapolis South (5’8 Guard, Minnesota Spartans). Davis stepped in and gave the Tigers instant scoring, shooting, and another consistent double figure threat on the court. It gave the Tigers three guards that could playmake and the group played off one another extremely well. Davis is with many of those same players competing with the Spartans.
Jackson Hayes Jackson Hayes 6'6" | SF Waconia | 2024 State MN of Waconia (6’4 Wing, Minnesota Fury Muir). Hayes has a lot of potential. He’s long, skilled, and can shoot the ball with range. Hayes played off the bench for the Cats this year but his role increased steadily as did his production this winter. Should step into a much bigger role as an upperclassmen.
Caleb Schoenrock of St. Francis (6’7 Stretch Four, Minnesota Spartans). Caleb moved into the varsity rotation this year and provided some depth as he continues to grow and mature as a high school player. Shoenrock will step in and make a really nice frontcourt pair with Matthew Bothun Matthew Bothun 6'9" | PF St. Francis | 2023 State MN as he continues to mature. His father Rob played for Minnesota and St. Cloud State.
Carson Schweim Carson Schweim 6'7" | SF Mankato East | 2024 State MN of Mankato East (6’6 Forward, Minnesota Select). Carson was one of the sophomores that caught my eye over the winter live. He gave the Cougars depth of size, shooting, and a consistent player that could start or be a 6th Man for a team that finished top four in the state tournament. Feel like Carson is in for a big sprig and he should have a big final two years as a Cougar.
Noah Stommes Noah Stommes 6'8" | C Eden Valley-Watkins | 2024 State MN of Eden Valley-Watkins (6’8 Big, Minnesota Comets). EVW stepped up this year and had a much better year than many expected after Justin Streit went to NDSU. Stommes gave them size in the paint, he gave them four/five scores a night, blocked some shots, rebounded in a solid way, and is now with the to Comets 16s,
Dylan Zimmerman Dylan Zimmerman 6'5" | SF Moorhead | 2024 State MN of Moorhead (6’4 SG, ECI). The top new addition to the top five is Dylan Zimmerman Dylan Zimmerman 6'5" | SF Moorhead | 2024 State MN of Moorhead who averaged 13/14 a game leading his team to the state tournament. Dylan is a big shooting guard with a great touch but has some solid agility as well. He’s coming off a big sophomore year with a lot of expectations going forward.
