#85 [player_tooltip player_id="1403957" first="Lawrence" last="Cole"] | 6’1” PG | Northside

Cole is a guy I left out of the 2023 rankings last time because I thought he was a 2024 for some reason, but he showed this year on a Northside team that just missed the state championship that he’s one of the top players in the Roanoke area. The 6’1” lead guard is dynamic as he can get in the lane at will and is a big time finisher above the rim in transition, he can score it in bunches and do so from all over the court, he can make others better and he has a swagger and toughness about him that’s easy to like.

#91 [player_tooltip player_id="1403958" first="Timayahs" last="Bracey"] | 6’0” SG | Hargrave

Bracey transferred to Hargrave from Church Hill Academy this year and not only did you see growth in his game but he also hit a growth spurt physically and grew into his body. He’s long and active defensively, he’s a dead eye shooter from deep who can make you pay from well beyond the HS and college line whether it’s off the bounce or off the catch and he simply is a kid who loves basketball and works hard to get better all the time.

#93 Nasir Coleman | 5’11” PG | Patriot

Coleman was the guy on a talented Patriot team that sort of came out of nowhere to be one of their better players this year, and he’s the type of player who will take whatever role and help his team win in different ways. He’s a quick twitch guard who gets in the lane at will and can finish in the midrange and around the rim, he can make plays for others and he brings it on the defensive end as well setting the tone on both ends.

#96 [player_tooltip player_id="1403959" first="Josiah" last="Banks"] | 6’4” SF | Roanoke Catholic

Banks transferred to Roanoke Catholic from Floyd County and reclassified, and he continues to show big upside as he develops and is able to impact the game in a number of different ways. The 6’4” wing is long and a good athlete who plays with a good motor and good energy, he can shoot it from deep and put it on the deck as a slasher where he can finish around the rim and he does all the little things like rebound, fight for loose balls and keep plays alive for his team.

#98 [player_tooltip player_id="1403960" first="Christian" last="Brown"] | 6’2” SG | Carmel School

Brown is another guy who transferred to Carmel School and saw a big jump both in his skill set and physically and athletically as he grew into his body and saw a growth spurt. He’s a slashing wing who can finish around the basket and play above the rim in transition, he plays with good toughness defensively and shows a good chip and he’s improved a lot in his ability to play on the ball and shoot it consistently from deep off the catch.

#105 [player_tooltip player_id="1403961" first="Jahzari" last="Priester"] | 6’6” C | Western Branch

Priester is a new name in the 757 to keep an eye on, as he not only is a load in the post who can outmuscle other bigs but he moves well for his frame and he has good touch around the rim too. He’s a physical presence in the paint that can clear out space and rebounds well on both ends, he has good hands and feet and is able to finish with either hand in the paint and he plays hard and gets after it when he’s on the floor.
