Bloomington Jefferson has a one game lead on on BSM, Orono, and Chanhassen in the Metro West with a week to go. Jefferson is at Orono tonight and that headlines Tuesday Night Match-Up!

One. [player_tooltip player_id="1189958" first="Isaiah" last="Hagen"] vs [player_tooltip player_id="1288780" first="samir" last="jones"]. Hagen is truly emerged this season as a scorer, ball handler, creator, playmaker, etc etc. Scoring nearly 20 a game, Hagen has blossomed into a talent that scholarship schools need to have on their radar. Jefferson has a 6’2 defender in [player_tooltip player_id="1288780" first="samir" last="jones"] that has done a nice job on top playmakers before and the Jags will need Jones to make the game tough for Hagen.

Two. Kyle Kallanbach vs [player_tooltip player_id="960334" first="Aidan" last="Atkins"]. These are six players that play different roles but will likely see one another throughout the game. Kallanbach is a quick trigger three point shooter that is one of four Orono double figure averaging scorers. Atkins is a ball handler and table setter for the Jags.

Three. [player_tooltip player_id="958716" first="Sebastian" last="Loder"] vs [player_tooltip player_id="958754" first="Hayden" last="Holland"]. Loder and Holland are two players that have had fantastic senior years playing and producing at a higher level than many projected for them. Loder has been a go-to guy for the Spartans at times scoring 16 points a game while Holland is the second Jags option scoring 13 a contest. Loder and Holland will need to support Hagen and Freitag respectively with solid games if their team is to win.

Four. [player_tooltip player_id="962314" first="Grant" last="Gunderson"] vs [player_tooltip player_id="1151197" first="Daniel" last="Freitag"]. Gunderson is a hard working senior role player for Orono while Freitag is one of the elite sophomores in the state and maybe the number one sophomore prospect in the state. Freitag is a skilled, explosive scoring weapon that scores 25.5 points a game, and do so with strong percentages. I don’t know that Gunderson will be on Freitag, but he will be a part of a big group that will need to try and force the Freitag attempts to be tough.

Five. Jake Farrell vs Cashaun Scott-Kobold. The "bigs". Farrell is basically a fifth Orono guard but he rebounds really well and is strong player so we throw him in the five category, even though he at times brings the ball up the floor and is at most, a forward. Scott-Kobold is a strong screen setting machine that does fit in the big category but he’s 6’3.

Bench. [player_tooltip player_id="850734" first="Cohen" last="Kellogg"]/Jack Kopesky vs Blake Mamalakis-Linderman. Orono’s guard depth is seven deep as Kellogg and Kopesky will come off the bench and handle, create, and at times score as well. They are the guys that make Orono one of the deepest group of guards in Minnesota. Orono will use eight or nine players while Jefferson is not quite as deep. Mamalakis-Linderman is the 6th man and the most consistent Jags reserve.
