Kolten Miller, 6’2 SG Latham Western 2022: Miller led the game in scoring with 18 points and really took advantage of the Trimble defense giving him room to fire from downtown. Miller also showed the ability to finish through contact in the half-court.
Drew Haggy, 5’11 CG Latham Western 2025: Haggy started which is very rare for a freshman on a district final squad. Haggy was patient and played within the offense, mostly scoring off drive and kick outs where he either looked to shoot from the outside or attack a close out. Haggy wasn’t the only freshman to see the court for Western, showing that they have built a solid program with depth in different grades.
Bryce Stuart, 6’2 PF Lucasville Valley 2022: Stuart is a sneaky athlete who threw down an easy reverse dunk that helped fuel a comeback for the Indians. Stuart wanted the ball in his hands when the game got tight and came through over and over again. A bit undersized at the forward position but Stuart is a great high school player and could play a role at the next level.
Reese Teeters, 5’9 PG Leesburg Fairfield 2022: Teeters finished around the basket at a very high level as his offense kept his team around for the entire game, withstanding multiple Valley runs. Teeters is patient with the ball in his hands and finished off one and two feet around the basket. A great performance where he left it all on the line one last time.
Jace Copley, 6’1 SG Lucasville Valley 2024: Copley is one of the best Sophomores in southeast Ohio and despite not having his best game, the talent was obvious from the jump. A put-back layup to open the scoring for Lucasville Valley and made some hustle plays that were impressive for an underclassmen.
