<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prep Hoops Staff was in attendance for the Sweet 16 games hosted at Rupp Arena on the campus of the University of Kentucky. After two consecutive years of battling ongoing Covid challenges, the tournament was back in full force. We bring you coverage of the best players from each session. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Warren Central - Junior Forward, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Chappelle </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Whitney (Unranked in PH)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Whitney is an active, engaging forward that found success around the rim throughout the game. He is a fluid athlete that is constantly moving around the court. The ball finds Whitney partly because of his commitment to being around the paint area. He finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds before fouling out.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Warren Central - Junior Guard, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Omari </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Glover (Unranked in PH)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Glover was an offensive weapon throughout the entire game. He is a strong, determined scorer that made quick, decisive decisions when driving to the paint. He had a clutch bucket at the end of overtime that brought the crowd to their feet. Glover led the Dragons in scoring with 20 points.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Male - Senior Wing, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="922999" first="Dez" last="Lindsay"]</strong> (PH Ranking #7)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lindsay had a slow start to the game but came alive in the second half. He had multiple straight-line drives in the 3rd Quarter that led to converting baskets and drawing fouls. Lindsay made a slick behind-the-back pass that led to a layup at the end of regulation to tie the game up. Lindsay led the Bulldogs in scoring with 23 points.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Male - Junior Forward, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="932764" first="Kaleb" last="Glenn"]</strong> (PH Ranking #2)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Glenn has been a stud all season long and showcased his full arsenal of skills in this game. Despite being constantly double-teamed around the paint, he consistently managed to maneuver to get clean shots at the basket and snag loose rebounds. Additionally, his outside stroke has continued to improve. Glenn finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds to notch another double-double. </span></p>

<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Regular & postseason record: 38-6</span></i></p>

<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Region 5 Champion John Hardin Bulldogs (4A)</span></i></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lyon County - Sophomore Wing, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1088820" first="Brady" last="Shoulders"]</strong> (PH Ranking #37)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Shoulders has become a go-to offensive threat for Coach Perry’s Lyons. His offensive confidence and overall awareness on the court has steadily grown over the course of the season. Shoulders had a forceful drive and finish late in the 3rd Quarter that was part of a massive surge as the Lyons pulled away. Shoulders finished with a strong game notching 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lyon County - Sophomore Guard, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939117" first="Travis" last="Perry"]</strong> (PH Ranking #1)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Although Perry’s reputation has been growing regionally, for many of the spectators, this was their first opportunity to watch him play. He started slow, but the takeover was in full gear in the 3rd Quarter. He can score at all 3 levels with unbelievable ease. Of Perry’s various skills, his rebound to transition to paint touch quickness is incredibly impressive. Perry led all scorers with 26 points</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">John Hardin - Senior Guard, Devon Rogers (Unranked in PH)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rogers is a quick, crafty guard that is the primary playmaker. He was the lone bright spot for the Bulldogs. He was constantly working the offense to set up teammates for open looks. Rogers finished the game with 13 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. </span></p>
