The 6A Tournament kicks off at the University of Portland on Wednesday and some of the state’s top-ranked seniors will be in action at the Chiles Center. Here’s a look at some of the top Class of 2022 standouts that will be competing, most of which remain unsigned.

#1 - [player_tooltip player_id="1214443" first="Raysean" last="Seamster"], Roosevelt

Honors - Honorable Mention All-PIL; Stats - 9.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg

Seamster didn’t make his season debut until February and has recently started to show signs of the player we saw his junior season and going into the summer. He’s finishing well around the basket and has been a factor defensively with his 6-foot-6 height, length, and athleticism.

#4 - [player_tooltip player_id="1228279" first="Caden" last="Harris"], Summit

Honors - First Team All-Mountain Valley Conference; Stats - 16.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.2 apg

COMMITTED TO CHICO STATE

Harris’s calling card has always been his super smooth jumper on the perimeter but this season he’s been effective getting buckets down low as well. The 6-foot-5 swingman’s size, strength, and athleticism have allowed him to be Summit’s top defender down low.

#5 - [player_tooltip player_id="942247" first="Devon" last="Malcolm"], South Medford

Honors - First Team All-Southwest Conference; Stats - 15.5 ppg, 8.6 rpg

A lot will fall on the shoulders of Malcolm on both ends of the floor but the 6-foot-4 swingman will be ready as very few in the field will be able to match his special blend of athleticism and power. Look for him to do damage both inside and out for the Panthers.

#6 - [player_tooltip player_id="857345" first="Donatello" last="Tupper"], Roosevelt

Honors - Second Team All-PIL; Stats - 13.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg

One of the most explosive finishers at the basket, Tupper has excelled in transition all year long and he’ll be even more dangerous in the open floor on the college-sized court. The 6-foot-4 lefty can certainly finish at the rim but has been proving that he can knock down the open jumper as well.

#8 - [player_tooltip player_id="857353" first="Malik" last="Ross"], Tualatin

Honors - First Team All-Three Rivers League, Conference Defensive Player of the Year; Stats - 13.0 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.5 apg

Ross’s game has been getting to the hoop where he uses his strength to get by opponents and finish through contact. If the 5-foot-11 guard isn’t getting the bucket, he’s more often than not getting the call to go to the free throw line. Defensively his strength and quickness allows him to guard players taller than him.

#9 - [player_tooltip player_id="857354" first="Noah" last="Ogoli"], Tualatin

Honors - First Team All-Three Rivers League; Stats - 16.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 2.8 apg

The pull-up has been his go-to game all year long but recently, Ogoli has been shooting extremely well from beyond the arc. Where the 6-foot guard been consistently dangerous all year long has been the way he so quickly gets up the floor on the break.

#10 - [player_tooltip player_id="857359" first="Zeke" last="Viuhkola"], West Linn

Honors - First Team All-Three Rivers League; Stats - 15.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg

While teammate [player_tooltip player_id="861091" first="Jackson" last="Shelstad"] usually gets most of the press - and deservedly so - Viuhkola has put together a solid senior campaign. He’s been deadeye from beyond the arc but also very effective taking it strong to the hole and finishing around the hoop. His toughness has shone through on the defensive end as well.

#12 - [player_tooltip player_id="964539" first="Julian" last="Mora"], Summit

Honors - Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-Mountain Valley Conference; Stats - 16.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 4.8 apg

COMMITTED TO SEATTLE PACIFIC

Mora is one of the fastest guards in the state that looks to continually push the ball up the court and up the pace. The 5-foot-10 guard is quick off the dribble, can hit threes in bunches, and is just as adept at creating for others as he is for himself.
