<p>228 seniors ranked with 33 newcomers. We take a look at some of the top ones who came in this year. </p>

<p>Here were the top-12 newcomers: (All fall in the top-50) </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="809672" first="Jason" last="Elder"] <strong>Phhoenix Prep</strong></p>
<p>Not really a newcomer but was a Portland State commit and came back home for some time off and got back to the hardwood and looks like a top-100 player. He has turned his shooting around and still is a way above the rim dunker on the break. He defends multiple positions and makes plays for others. He is headed to <strong>Georgia. </strong> </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1284819" first="Shawn" last="Phillips Jr"]<strong> Dream City Christian </strong></p>
<p>The big center protects the paint, runs the floor, has incredible length and comes with real size. He can score it around the rim with put backs, hooks and drop steps. He is headed to <strong>NC State. </strong></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1275622" first="Keyon" last="Menifield"] <strong>Phhoenix Prep</strong></p>
<p>Speed on speed mixed in with some serious bounce. If you haven't seen him play, you will see him next year at <strong>Washington.</strong> It is like he dribbles on skates. He is so shifty and his handle it super tight. He finds ways to get to the basket at will off the dribble and rises up higher then you. He is definitely a fun watch. </p>

<p>A highly skilled forward headed to <strong>Vanderbilt</strong> next year. He has a compact stroke from the 3pt line with range. He rebounds well in his area and plays a smart floor game for his position. </p>

<p>A physical and thicker forward plays inside and out. He can shoot the 3, he has some springs and will grab out of area rebounds. He brings an aggressive attitude off the bench for the Dragons. He is heading to <strong>Minnesota</strong> next year. </p>

<p>Another player that isn't new but left the state and returned to BVP. He is an active forward with springs on his shoes. He has become more skilled in the last year, stronger and his motor is slowly improving. </p>

<p>Another ridiculous athlete with a measured 44 inch vertical. He is long and lean and grabs rebounds and blocks shots. He can score it near the hoop with hooks, rim runs and put backs. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1305225" first="Quincy" last="Adams"] <strong>Hamilton</strong></p>
<p>An athletic lefty newcomer to the state. He transferred in from Texas and made an immediate splash. He carried his team to the 6A state finals. He is amazing getting downhill with his left hand. He can hit the pull-up or from the 3. </p>

<p>A face-up forward who can score from inside and out. He is good in transition and can shoot the 3 or from mid with some consistency. He is a plus rebounder in his area and runs the floor well. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1345687" first="Jeffrey" last="Brazziel"] <strong>Dream City Christian </strong></p>
<p>A top-tier downhill guard with elite size. The Midwest transplant uses his unusual length to defend multiple positions. He is a capable perimeter shooter but loves getting to the rim. </p>

<p>One of the better available junior college targets in the state. He flies gracefully up the court, blocks shots, dimes teammates and can get downhill. Has many traits to like. </p>

<p>A pure stroke forward has a big IQ and pretty jumper beyond the 3pt line. He is sneaky athletic and rebounds well in his area. He has played well versus some of their top opponents. </p>
