Wednesday Night Daily Dive

<p>There wasn’t a lot of action around the state tonight as schools prepared for the incoming snow and ice storm expected to hit the Hoosier state Wednesday evening. However, we here at Prep Hoops Indiana have your coverage of those few games that did take place. Let’s dive right in.</p> <h2>Floyd Central Clinches Hoosier Hills Conference</h2> <p>With a 53-36 win over Bedford North Lawrence and Jennings County’s 60-57 win over New Albany, the Highlanders locked up the Hoosiers Hill Conference crown. It is their fourth conference title in the last five seasons. Floyd Central went 8/11 from beyond the arc with three a piece coming from [player_tooltip player_id="868231" first="Caleb" last="Washington"] and Max Tipure. Washington led the way with 12 points while [player_tooltip player_id="1269991" first="Brady" last="Moore"] chipped in 10 for the Highlanders who now sit at 13-2 on the season. Colten Leach had a game high 14 points in the loss for Bedford North Lawrence.</p> <h2>Loogootee Beats Sectional Opponent</h2> <p>The Lions of Loogootee, ranked #4 in Class 1A by Prep Hoops Indiana, defeated Sectional 63 foe Orleans 54-44 this evening. 6’3" junior wing [player_tooltip player_id="868254" first="Peyton" last="Bledsoe"] dominated the game leading all scorers with 26 points. The victory lifted the Lions to 13-4 on the season while the Orleans Bulldogs fell to 12-4. Their only losses are to teams ranked in the Top 10 of Class 1A: Barr-Reeve, Evansville Christian, North Daviess, and Loogootee. Unfortunately for Coach Tom Bradley, three of those four teams are also sectional opponents.</p> <h2>Wednesday Night Scoreboard</h2> <p>Other games that we have yet to be able to get more information from...</p> <ul> <li>Eastern (Pekin) 44 Henryville 40.
