With this Tuesday, the 22nd, being the last day of games in the Western Dakota Association before the postseason begins it was only right to discuss some of the best match-ups to watch. The west has a ton of talent across the board, so lets dive in.

Dickinson @ St. Mary’s 7:45pm

This is a match-up of the two teams with an overall record of 11-9 in the Western Conference. Coming into this game the Midgets are coming off of a loss as the Saints are on a two game win streak. Some players that contribute to include Dickinson include [player_tooltip player_id="1050249" first="Alex" last="Dvorak"], [player_tooltip player_id="1133066" first="Britton" last="Cranston"], [player_tooltip player_id="1135885" first="Isaac" last="Daley"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1162410" first="Tyrese" last="Annace"]. On the St. Mary’s side some players to watch for are [player_tooltip player_id="1135509" first="Garrett" last="Bader"], [player_tooltip player_id="1046359" first="Evan" last="Gross"], [player_tooltip player_id="1046367" first="Nate" last="Fedorchak"], and Easton Hinnenkamp. With both teams being tied for fourth in the conference, joining Mandan and Legacy, this game will swing who takes the higher spot in the standings.

Century @ Minot 7:45pm

Of all the games to take place out West this Tuesday, this one might be the biggest. Minot and Century currently hold the top two spots in the conference and are coming off of a battle last week in which we saw the Magicians take the win. With their last meeting ending in a score of 59-52, it will be interesting to see if the rematch will copy as another low scoring game, or if both teams will find their groove offensively. Players to watch for on the Magi side include [player_tooltip player_id="1050246" first="Darik" last="Dissette"], [player_tooltip player_id="1111173" first="Eric" last="Wentz"], Morgan Nygaard, and [player_tooltip player_id="1168194" first="Logan" last="Conklin"]. On the Century side we’ve got [player_tooltip player_id="1111175" first="Isaiah" last="Schafer"], [player_tooltip player_id="1048689" first="Anthony" last="Doppler"], [player_tooltip player_id="1050245" first="Ryan" last="Erikson"], [player_tooltip player_id="1050255" first="William" last="Ware"], and [player_tooltip player_id="812232" first="Connor" last="Trahan"]. Because the records of both squads are only one win apart this game will determine if a first place tie is how the regular season ends or if Minot will prove they are truly the best in the West.

Bismarck High @ Legacy 7:45pm

This particular match-up between the Demons and Sabers could potentially cause a shake up in the West standings. As of today Bismarck High is #3 in the WDA with a overall record of 16-4 and Legacy is tied for #4 sitting at 10-10. With a win over the Sabers and a Century loss, the Demons could end the regular season tied for second place. Legacy is currently in a four-way conference tie for fourth place and if things go their way that tie could diminish to just two teams. Some players that have contributed to BH this year are [player_tooltip player_id="1046352" first="Treysen" last="Eaglestaff"], [player_tooltip player_id="1136404" first="George" last="Gillette"], Kyler Scott, [player_tooltip player_id="1135881" first="Ethan" last="Stotz"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1141138" first="Cole" last="Jahner"]. For Legacy they’ve had guys step up such as [player_tooltip player_id="1046353" first="Zander" last="Albers"], [player_tooltip player_id="1050251" first="Jaxon" last="Kellogg"], [player_tooltip player_id="812225" first="Logan" last="Wetzel"], and Kiefer Glenn.
