Watch List 2025 Wing Prospects

Prep Hoops Illinois released our first look at the 2025 class with our Watch List. It is EXTREMELY EARLY in the process. Some players are playing major varsity minutes, some barely play, and others are on the sophomore team. These are prospects that we have come across in the last year that have caught our eye who are worth monitoring going forward. Here is our Watch List 2025 Wing Prospects in ALPHABETICAL ORDER. Bell is definitely one of the premier prospects in this class. Wiry and athletic two guard has had several big games for St. Rita scoring as a freshman. Three level scorer that brings excellent physical tools and skill to the table. High-major prospect already.

The younger brother of Matas is a 6’3” small forward that has a strong body and solid all-around skill set. Inside/outside threat to track.

Gehrke is a big time athlete that knows how to use them. He has stepped in as a freshman playing a major role rebounding and playing with a motor at 6’3”.

Heard is the other headliner of this class early on with Bell. Elite scoring threat that can put it in the hoop with ease from multiple levels. He is such an effortless bucket getter with high-major ability and the scary part is he is just scratching the surface of his potential.

This might be the most undervalued top tier prospect in the class. Point forward that plays with a ton of flair as a passer. Potential as a shooter and is excellent in the open floor with the rock.

One of the best athletes in the class with a projectable frame. He has seen key minutes for the Dolphins this year because of his ability to defend, play with energy, and is not afraid of veteran competition.

Porter is another one of the top freshman in the class with his with physical tools at 6’3” with a strong frame and major athletic pop. Force when he is attacking downhill or in transition.
