Jeremiah Landers (2025) Northmont 6-foot-2 PG
This matchup with Franklin served as an opportunity for me to see Landers in person as he did not play in the game I watched earlier in the year. The freshman guard has a good build and good feel for the game. He seems to be one play ahead and anticipates opposing defenses as well as advance the basketball as often as he can. Landers’ shot mechanics are crisp and fluid. This guy has a bright future for the Bolts in the coming years.
Tyrin Sturdivant (2023) Northmont 6-foot-0 PG
Sturdivant was a nightmare on the defensive end as the junior guard wrecked havoc on the Franklin defenders. His speed laterally is impressive as the Wildcats’ guards couldn’t get by him. Sturdivant doesn’t have a lot of pop on the offensive end and really makes a name for himself working on the defensive end. He unfortunately left the game with what appeared to be an injury in the 2nd quarter and didn’t return.
Isaiah Williams (2025) Beavercreek 5-foot-10 CG
Williams was the X-Factor in Creek’s win over Springboro as he finished with a team-high 16 points off the bench. The lefty is scrappy and can really break down defenders on the perimeter. His quickness and explosiveness allows him to blow by defenders and showed a soft touch with the floater in the paint. Brought aggressiveness and energy on the defensive end and was an active defender. Williams is worth following as he’s only a freshman.
RJ Greer (2025) Springboro 6-foot-3 SG
Greer put up one of the best offensive performances of the day with 22 points in a losing effort Tuesday. The freshman SG showed a lethal shooting stroke as he knocked down 4 3’s in the loss. Greer has great length and size for a freshman guard and has shown now on multiple occasions his knack for putting the ball in the basket in a variety of ways. Greer struggled once Beavercreek started face guarding him and put up some forced shots as a result. There’s no denying however this guy can play and is part of a bright future for the Panthers.
