Lawrent Rice Lawrent Rice 6'4" | PG Huber Heights Wayne | 2023 State #184 Nation OH (2023). G 6’4. Wayne
Rice put on an absolute scoring clinic and started it from the beginning of the game coming out very aggressive. He scored 10 of Wayne’s 12 points in the first quarter and ended the game with 29. He can score at all three levels. He attacked the rim all night and got to it very nicely finishing multiple layups over defenders. Rice was also all over the place defensively. High-level prospect.
Brandon Pooler (2022). G 6’1. Northmont
Pooler has a noticeably beautiful and smooth jumper. He showed it off by hitting the game-winning three-pointer for Northmont. He is a pretty quick senior guard that came up big for Northmont and definitely led the Thunderbolts team both by example and vocally. Pooler showed great touch in the lane with some nice floater and nice finishes.
Daryl Cooper (2023). G 6’1. Miamisburg
Cooper is a very nice athletic point guard that fits great with the modern fast pace game. He is a very long and quick athletic guard. Has a very tight handle on the ball with some very quick moves. Cooper has a great ability to keep his head up and always finds the open man. Can pass with either hand and when you add his vision, he will find always find the right man. I liked his ability to put the ball in the basket pretty efficiently scoring 17 points against Northmont, including a big three to put them up with less than 10 seconds left.
Trey Dennis (2022). G 6’3. West Carrollton
Dennis is a big guard. Has a very thick build and isn’t afraid to use it. Made very strong moves and was clearing the path when going to the basket. I was impressed with the very nice and smooth jumper that he showed off hitting multiple threes for the Pirates. I think he will make a nice guard at the next level.
Jeremiah Landers (2025). G 6’0. Northmont
This freshman has a very calm demeanor to him. His facial never changes and he seems to stay calm at all times and he plays like that as well. Very smooth game with a nice pace to it. He is a very nicely skilled player that I expect to show them off more in the next couple of years. I was impressed with his vision for a freshman. His jumper is the question of his game but he did hit a big-time three late.
