The O'Fallon Shootout is one of the top events in the Midwest annually. Always a fun day of hoops with teams from Illinois and Missouri. Check out our scouting reports from the event here in O'Fallon Shootout: Missouri Evals!

Class of 2022

[player_tooltip player_id="1312400" first="Walter" last="Straughter"] and [player_tooltip player_id="985419" first="Nate" last="Straughter"] (Chaminade)

Really like what these twins bring to the table. Both are already committed to Millikin. Long 6'2” wings that can defend and excel in transition. Walter is more of the offensive threat as he scored 18 points in their win over O'Fallon. Silky smooth with the rock in the open floor finishing at the cup. Nate also had a solid performance with 8 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="1180544" first="Filip" last="Sinobad"] (Chaminade)

Sinobad caught our attention over the summer in KC. Thick bodied post that has touch and feel scoring in the paint on hook shots. Also can stretch as he hit a mid-range jumper and three. Not a great athlete, but is light on his feet and did have a couple blocks early. Look for him to find a home at the small college level.

[player_tooltip player_id="984502" first="Rob" last="Martin"] (CBC)

Martin had an exceptional performance for CBC in their victory over St. Rita. The heady senior has been a go to scorer this season. He did that again when he was needed most. Impacted the game with his transition scoring, pull up jumper, quickness on the defensive end, burst in the half court, passing, and leadership. Height will scare some away but a low-major should definitely go here as he is the kind of guard you wake up in three years and is winning games in March. Finished with a day high 27 points.

Larry Hughes Jr. (CBC)

Hughes is another unsigned senior guard. The shooting guard is a smooth scorer that loves to play off his defense. He did exactly that with several steals that he took the other way. Plus athlete that can be a two way player at the next level. He had 9 points.

Class of 2023

Nilavan-Jotham Daniels (Chaminade)

Ultra smooth shooting guard that can really stroke it from the perimeter. Daniels hit an array of threes off the catch en route to his 19 points. Such an effortless stroke and also got to the line as well. D2s should be monitoring him.

BJ Ward (Chaminade)

Ward is probably the highest ranked prospect on the Chaminade squad. Strong bodied and compact combo guard that was most effective as a distributor in this game with a couple of fantastic dimes. When he did score as usual it was putting his head down and getting to the cup for physical scores in the paint as he had 10 points.

[player_tooltip player_id="1362685" first="Kennard" last="Davis"] (Vashon)

Davis is a top 5 prospect in the state of Missouri in the junior class and has brought it every single time we have seen him this season. Powerfully built small forward that can score effectively from all three levels. Hit multiple pull up threes, got in the mid-range, and can finish with force in the paint. Good wing defender that can guard multiple positions. Love how his game is progressing. Scored 16 points. Mid-major plus prospect with a high-major ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id="981142" first="Jayden" last="Nicholson"] (Vashon)

Wiry left handed wing that takes good angles on his cuts to the basket. Scores in the paint, got to the line, and is a capable mid-range shooter. Finished with 7 points. Has D1 ability.

[player_tooltip player_id="1264291" first="Cameron" last="Stovall"] (Vashon)

Stovall is a power forward that brings rebounding on the interior along with athleticism as a finisher. He had 6 points.
