2022 6-0 G Dane Fisher – Model

Before going down with an injury late in overtime, Dane Fisher caused problems for the Indians, scoring on drives and knocking down threes. Fisher was able to slice to the basket and put English on his finishes to sore in traffic. When left open, he cashed in threes when he had his feet set. Fisher also impressed off the dribble as a facilitator. He recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

2024 6-8 C Jeremias Heard – Model

The big fella had a monster size advantage and finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. He was effective as a passer in high-low sets dumping it inside to [player_tooltip player_id="1049240" first="Jakenes" last="Heard"]. Jeremias was able to get deep post position routinely. He has a nice touch around the rim. Heard needs to work on keeping the ball high when finishing. He did a nice job altering shots without fouling.

2022 5-7 PG Derion Richardson – Model

Richardson’s corner three midway through overtime gave Model the lead for good. He’s a quick guard that helps out on the glass and can stay in front on defense. He nailed three three-pointers on his way to 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

2022 6-2 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1131840" first="Jaylon" last="Johnson"] – Chattooga

Recently committed to play football at Shorter, [player_tooltip player_id="1131840" first="Jaylon" last="Johnson"] made huge plays down the stretch in the fourth quarter to force overtime. His on-ball defense led to multiple steals. While he didn’t hunt his offense as much as years past, Johnson shined as a distributor, making things happen with his court vision as he set up teammates. His best bucket came in overtime when he drove the lane and patiently worked his pivot to score overtop length in traffic. Johnson tallied 9 points, 7 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.

2023 5-8 G [player_tooltip player_id="938976" first="Damien" last="Smith"] – Chattooga

The high-volume shooter poured in 18 points and 4 rebounds. Head launches from deep beyond the three-point line, causing opponents to stretch out their on-ball pressure. Smith hit four threes and scored on a nice lefty drive. When he implements his mid-range pull-up, he’s tough to cover.

2023 5-10 G Trey Smith – Chattooga

I liked the effort Trey Smith brought. He made some timely steals and scored on drives and slips to the basket. Smith competed inside, blocking two shots. He’s a reliable defender.
