Hard to believe the season has come and gone, it was a blast! I was fortunate to have a front-row seat. Going from gym to gym every night provided me with an up-close and personal look at some of the best talents from around the state. So much of the game now is shooting, but I love slashers, show me a guy that can get to that cup and I’ll show you a player. In honor of the ultimate slasher, we present our all Michael Myers team.

1st Team

Christian Martin Christian Martin 6'2" | SG Sierra Vista | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Sierra Vista 2022 (#31PHN 2022) - Strong hand driver with good upper body frame, and the ability to finish through contact.

Sylis Gray Sylis Gray 6'3" | SG Bonanza | 2022 State NV 6’3 SG Bonanza 2022 (#20PHN 2022) - Good wiggle mixed with the threat of a jump shot.

Dontrell Johnson Dontrell Johnson 6'5" | SF Trinity | 2022 State NV 6’5 SG Trinity 2022 (#10PHN 2022) - High motor slasher that is in constant attack mode.

CJ Shaw CJ Shaw 6'3" | SG Mojave | 2025 State #212 Nation NV 6’3 SG Mojave 2025 (#8PHN 2025) - Slippery driver who manages to squeeze through the tiniest spaces to get to the cup.

David Nealy David Nealy 6'2" | SG Stranahan | 2026 FL 6’3 PG Bishop Gorman 2024 (#5PHN 2024) - Lefty with a quick first step and the ability to finish away from his body at the rim.

Jaquavis Williford Jaquavis Williford 6'6" | SG Western | 2023 CA-S 6’6 SG Western 2023 (#6PHN 2023) - Lefty with good 1 v 1 skills, unstoppable when he can get to his strong hand.

2nd Team

Ryder Elisaldez Ryder Elisaldez 6'1" | CG Bishop Gorman | 2024 State NV 6’1 CG Bishop Gorman 2024 (#8PHN 2024) - High flying slasher that uses his R&J ability to finish above the rim.

Frank Evans Frank Evans 6'1" | SG Eldorado | 2022 State NV 6’1 SG Eldorado 2022 (#27PHN 2022) - Shifty two-guard that incorporates slashing into his overall scoring package.

Tayan Thompson Tayan Thompson 6'4" | SF Cimarron | 2022 State NV 6’4 SF Cimarron 2022 (#28PHN 2022) - More fundamental than skill, gets to the rim going both directions.

Gavin Douglas Gavin Douglas 6'7" | SF Boulder City | 2022 State NV 6’7 SF Boulder City 2022 (#37PHN 2022) - Athletic slasher, doesn’t take more than two dribbles, but when he gets his 1,2 down he is lethal.

Julius Robinson Julius Robinson 5'11" | SG Silverado | 2025 NV 6’0 SG Silverado 2025 (#13PHN 2025) - Lefty will probably make my all bully team as well.

Elijah Johnson Elijah Johnson 6'1" | SG Rancho | 2022 State NV 6’0 SG Rancho 2022 (#72PHN 2022) - Bully wing, that is most effective going downhill to his strong hand.
