Logan Washburn 5’11 PG Cleveland 2022
Washburn is an elite shooter who plays with confidence and swagger. His range is limitless, and he routinely hits shoots from beyond the college three off the dribble. His lighting quick release allows him to get his shot off any time he wants and opens up the game for his dribble drives. He operates smoothly in pick and roll sets and has an advanced understanding of different coverages and where to do with the ball in these situations. He also showed an ability to create space with his handle and is lethal with his stepback jumper. He can shoot efficiently off the catch and the dribble, making him one of the better shooters in the states regardless of class.

Cade Morris 6’1 SG Bayside 2023
Morris is a consistent scorer who is efficient, clever, and crafty with his attack. His jumper is quick, compact, and wastes little motion. He’s a knock-down shooter off the catch and moves without the ball excellently. Morris also excels in the mid-range with an efficient pull-up jumper off the upfake. He is also a great athlete and shows it when he’s attacking off the dribble. Morris is strong enough to take on contact and get to his spots. He also has a solid vertical explosion, can adjust quickly, and finishes around the rim with touch. Morris consistently produces as a scorer due to his proficiency at all three levels of the court. As undersized two, he’s one of the more underrated scorers in the state.
In tonight’s Overtime 66-65 road loss to Chickasaw, Bayside was led by Cade Morris (#4) with 26 points, Bishop Burkhalter (#1) with 15, and McRae Taul (#0) with 13. 🏀⚓️ #AnchorDown #GoBigBlue @Bayside_Admiral @baysideacademy @1055wnsp pic.twitter.com/bstWAET7Ns

Kyle Layton Kyle Layton 6'0" | PG Mountain Brook | 2023 State AL 6’0 PG/SG Mountain Brook 2022
Layton took on the challenge of guarding the opposing team’s best player and did a great job of containing him. His lateral quickness, active hands, and competitive spirit stood out as he consistently got crucial stops. Laton showed a versatile skill set with initiating the offense or finding his shot as a stationary shooter off the catch. He flows well in his roles as a primary ball-handler or an aggressive off guard allowing the offense to come to him. His basketball IQ is high, and he understands his role at all times.
Jordyn Turner Durley 6’3 PG Florence 2023
Durley is a bigger guard who contributes shooting, poise, and solid passing. His shot is quick, efficient, and effortless. He gets excellent elevation and is consistent with his form. He showed an ability to knock down the three-ball in transition and shoot at an efficient level off the catch. Durley is well-coached and has the fundamentals of being a point. He always keeps his head, throws the ball accurately when starting the break, handles pressure well, and can be a weapon off the ball.
MJ Jones 6’1 PG Pelham 2022
Jones went up against a primer program in Mountain Brook and single handily put his team in a position to win despite the talent gap favoring the other side. Jones’s elite speed constantly put pressure on the rim, created open opportunities for teammates in transition, and allowed him to break the defense and finish at the basket. With a usage rate, he does an excellent job of limiting turnovers and maximizing possessions. His tenacity consistently pushed him and his team throughout the game. You can see his team felt like they had a chance to win with him as the team leader.
