Sleepers to Watch in the Bergen County Jamboree

<p>County tournaments are set to start as teams across the state are looking to get hot right before the state tournament. The Bergen County Jamboree seeds were released yesterday, and it should be full of intrigue. Here are the top sleeper prospects to watch in the 2022 Bergen County Jamboree.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="901993" first="Isaiah" last="Edmond"], 6’2 CG Don Bosco Prep 2022</strong></p> <p>The Ironmen were selected as the top seed in the Bergen County Jamboree and Edmond should make an impact on the perimeter. The 6’2 guard has a good handle which he uses to get into the lane and finish around the basket. Edmond makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and does not get rattled under pressure. He is a tough defender and is a strong rebounder. Edmond is a physical guard prospect who should continue to play at a high level for Don Bosco Prep during the Bergen County Jamboree.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1213554" first="Brandon" last="Benjamin"], 6’7 PF Bergen Catholic 2024</strong></p> <p>Benjamin has played a big role for the Crusaders this season and should continue to play well for the second-seeded Crusaders. The 6’7 forward works hard to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Benjamin is an underrated passer and is developing his range on the offensive end. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length and athleticism to alter shots around the basket. Benjamin is a hard-working forward prospect who impacts the game in multiple ways at both ends of the floor.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902749" first="Mason" last="Piorkowski"], 5’8 PG St. Joseph (Mont.) 2023</strong></p> <p>Piorkowski is set for a big Bergen County Jamboree for the Green Knights with his ability to impact the game form distance. The 5’8 guard is a sniper from distance who is in range once he crosses half court and can get hot from deep in a hurry. Piorkowski is more than just a shooter as he also has a nice handle and can finish around the basket. He is an underrated defender and makes good decisions with the ball in his hands. Piorkowski’s shooting will be key as St. Joseph (Mont.) looks to defend its title in 2022.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1039495" first="Ayjani" last="Rasbury"], 6’2 CG Dwight-Englewood 2022</strong></p> <p>Rasbury has been solid for Dwight-Englewood all season and it should continue in the Bergen County Jamboree. The 6’2 guard is at his best attacking the basket where he is a good finisher at the rim and does not mind drawing contact. Rasbury runs the offense effectively as he has seven games this season with at least five assists. He is an underrated rebounder and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Rasbury is a two-way guard who should continue to make plays at both ends for Dwight-Englewood.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1016678" first="John" last="Celli"], 6’0 SG Tenafly 2022</strong></p> <p>Tenafly has gotten off to a 9-2 start this season and Celli is looking to continue the strong start in the Bergen County Jamboree. The 6’0 guard has a lightning quick release on his jumper and is capable of hitting triples in bunches. Celli move exceptionally well off the ball, creating open layups and jumpers for himself. He slides his feet well on the defensive end and is an underrated ball-handler.
