Marion: Alex Mota 18, Boede Rahe 10, [player_tooltip player_id="956878" first="Brayson" last="Laube"] 9, [player_tooltip player_id="1158501" first="Cael" last="Hodges"] 6, Kaden Frommelt 6, Payton Hodges 4, Myles Davis 3, Calen Claypool 2, Jordan Fischer 2

’23 Alex Mota, 6’1" G - The three-star football recruit lead the Wolves with 18 points on 7 of 10 shooting and 3 of 4 from three. Mota is super athletic, and he uses it on both ends of the floor. The 6’1" junior uses his speed to easily get to the hoop, but don’t protect the drive too much, he will knock down a three. On defense, he uses his speed to lock down guards, but at 6’1" and athletic, he can also guard down in the post.

’22 Boede Rahe 6’6" C - Rahe was very impressive down low for the Wolves. With two blocks, he protected the rim very well, and locked down the paint. The 6’6" center was also impressive on the offensive end, cleaning up missed shots and finishing at the hoop. Rahe ended with ten points and five rebounds.

’23 [player_tooltip player_id="956878" first="Brayson" last="Laube"] 6’2" G - Coming into the game, Laube was averaging over twenty points a contest. Beckman managed to hold Laube to just nine points on 1 of 4 shooting from three. Laube is an elite scorer inside, from mid-range, and very good from three. Despite an off night in Dyersville, the 6'2' junior is still one of the best scorers in the state.

Beckman Catholic: [player_tooltip player_id="1067659" first="Padraig" last="Gallagher"] 21, [player_tooltip player_id="1158470" first="Logan" last="Goedken"] 18, Eric Heinrichs 6, Trent Arens 6, [player_tooltip player_id="1256303" first="Eli" last="Kluesner"] 5, Logan Burchard 3, Ryan Burchard 2, Aiden Wessels 2

’23 [player_tooltip player_id="1067659" first="Padraig" last="Gallagher"] 6’5" F - The 6'5" junior for the Blazers sat half of the second quarter, but still led the team with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Gallagher has a very smooth jump shot, along with the ability to score at the hoop. Averaging 22.6 a contest, Gallagher is a very good scorer at all three levels.

’22 [player_tooltip player_id="1158470" first="Logan" last="Goedken"] 6’1" G - The second-leading scorer on the team, Goedken compliments Gallagher very well. Averaging over five assists a game, he is a great facilitator. When it comes to scoring, he doesn't force anything and takes good shots. Goedken will be a huge piece in the rest of Beckman's season.
