Ethan Stokes (2025) G 6’3. Oak Harbor.
Ethan Stokes was the player I left the gym most excited about. He is a freshman starter for Oak Harbor. He is 6’3 and long with a wider frame. He is built like a freshman but it can be added to. He got going in the second half and he showcased his skill set. He hit a couple threes and continued to get to the basket and hit nice pull-ups in transition showing his 3 level scoring ability for a young player. I believe if he gets bigger and a little more athletic and continues to sharpen his skill he can be a GREAT player at the next level. Definitely someone college coaches need to see within the next couple years.
Jon Huston (2024) G 5’9. Genoa.
Jon Huston can shoot it. Kid has a great stroke and used it to hit multiple threes in their hard fought game against Margaretta. He has an incredibly high IQ as he read screens correctly all game king and this gave him the space to shoot. His off ball movement was constant and smart. He knew how to create movement and keep spacing good.
Drake Craddock (2025) G 5’10. Lima Bath.
Drake Craddock handled the responsibility of starting and running the offense as a freshman like he has done it for years. He has a tight handle on the ball and showed the ability to shoot, even though he did not do it much, as he knocked down a three. He is listed at only 5’10 but he has a nice wide frame and build that could be added on. Craddock needs to improve on his finishing but I believe he will get more and more used to the speed and big bodies that he needs to finish over. I like his game for a freshman so far, especially with the great amount of energy and effort he showed all game long.
Alex Younkin (2022) PG 5’7. Fairview Park.
Alex Younkin is a nice point guard for Fairview. He plays very hard and gets the offense started. He has a very tight handle and shiftiness. Great moves to get himself open for a shot. He is very scrappy and crafty supported by a lefty jump shoot with unlimited range.
