Cane Bay HS vs Wando HS

<p>Prep Hoops took an hour drive down the Hwy 17 to Mount Pleasant last night to watch this battle for first place in the Region 7-5A. The Cane Bay HS Cobras came into town and walked away with the 60-43 victory at the Chop House. McLeod came up with some big shots tonight in the victory over the host Warriors. Robert brings a fearless attitude and mindset and some ice in the veins at times. McLeod has the Cobras going in the right direction with its play. Robert always seemed to be in the middle of the action if that was a loose ball on the floor, picking up a steal or just getting the ball up the floor in transition.</p> <p><em><strong>Senior Leadership </strong></em></p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/01/F8AD1C4B-56C3-472E-A45D-774F59228B7C.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1375519" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/01/F8AD1C4B-56C3-472E-A45D-774F59228B7C-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1375502" first="Christian" last="Smith"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1147985" first="Xavier" last="Adams"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1051980" first="C.J." last="Bennett-Shaffer"]</strong> along with McLeod provide leadership for the Cobras squad. Smith was able to make some timely buckets this evening. Adams and Bennett-Shaffer finished around the cup all night long. Davinroy scored the ball from all 3 levels and just played the game with a lot of grit this evening. Kids come early, stay engaged, standup for the whole game and really get involved. </p> <p><em><strong>Moving Forward </strong></em></p> <p>The Cobras have a lead in the region at 4-1 with Goose Creek HS now. Cane Bay HS has 5 won straight and finish with Stratford, Goose Creek HS and Berkeley HS.
