The Gaels flexed their muscle this week, picking up 3 wins, including a win over #2 Liberty and Whitney Young from Chicago. </li> <li><strong>Liberty</strong> (LW) #2 Week 1-1 Season 13-3 Next Centennial – The Patriots rebounded from their loss to Gorman with a victory over Faith Lutheran this year. Despite the loss to Gorman [player_tooltip player_id="989243" first="Angelo" last="Kambala"] knocked down 6 threes finishing with a 24 point effort.  </li> <li><strong>Durango</strong> (LW) #3 Week 2-0 Season 15-4 Next Foothill – Remarkable job this season by Coach Chad Beeten, they picked up a win over California powerhouse Etiwanda this weekend. They return to conference play with a matchup over Foothill. [player_tooltip player_id="986954" first="Taj" last="DeGourville"] has been one of the leaders for the squad this year. </li> <li><strong>Coronado</strong> (LW) #4 Week 2-1 Season 11-8 Next Desert Pines– The Cougars picked up two wins before faling to California powerhouse Corona Centennial.</li> <li><b>Spanish Springs (</b>LW) #6 Week 2-0 Season 16-5 Next McQueen– The Cougars keep on rolling. Big week for [player_tooltip player_id="1326865" first="Jake" last="Penny"] as he put together a monster 15-10 double-double in the win over Bishop Manogue. </li> <li><strong>Canyon Springs</strong> (LW) #5 Week 2-1 Season 16-5 Next Clark– After falling to Foothill, the Pioneers rebounded with a couple of wins.
