Top Non Seniors Seen in the season's first week

The week of November 29th I attended three games: Ironwood 68 at Millennium 73 OT Perry 49 vs Chaparral 36 at Brophy Prep Sunnyslope 43 at Brophy Prep 40   Here were the top non Seniors Seen: [player_tooltip player_id="1301344" first="Kingston" last="Tosi"] Millennium A very promising freshman forward who rebounds at a high rate. He blocked multiple shots. Kingston also showed that he can step away from the paint and handle the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="992829" first="Gabe" last="Pickens"] Millennium A thickly built point guard who looks to push the ball at any given open opportunity. GP keeps the defender constantly on their heels. If he continues to hit 3’s on occasion like he did in the Ironwood contest he will be even more difficult to contain. JT Amundsen CG 5'7 2025 Millennium A freshman who came in during the Ironwood game and did his job…..that was shoot. Quick release and highly confident he looked for any opening to get his shot off. He hit multiple 3’s in the game against Ironwood. Opposing coach had to make sure that he was accounted for every trip down the court. [player_tooltip player_id="1135515" first="Noah" last="Gifft"] Ironwood One of the best catch and shoot shooters in his class. He picked his spots wisely against a tough Millennium team. Moves without the ball to get to his spots. Makes good decisions with the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="936905" first="Julius" last="Williams"] Ironwood Junior forward who does a little of everything for the Eagles. Against Millennium he knocked down jumpers, grabbed rebounds, and was looking for the cutters every time he could. [player_tooltip player_id="1129193" first="Koa" last="Peat"] Perry A young wing forward didn’t score as much as in previous games but still left his mark in the win against Chaparral. He was very active on the boards and defensively causing havoc for the opposing teams forwards. [player_tooltip player_id="831114" first="Cody" last="Williams"] Perry A long guard facilitated for others as well as kept himself involved offensively. Where he really excelled was on the defensive end. His defense had Chaparral second guessing their passing with his long wingspan. [player_tooltip player_id="1150848" first="Nolan" last="Brown"] Perry The freshman guard played a heady game for the Pumas against Chap. He showed a nice burst when bringing the ball up court while keeping his head up. [player_tooltip player_id="814513" first="Ben" last="Egbo"] Perry The wing showed off his athletic ability in the open court against Chaparral with two dunks. Egbo also showed that he is becoming more comfortable on the wing by hitting a 3. [player_tooltip player_id="996163" first="Paul" last="Oscislawski"] Chaparral Paul showed his all-around game against Perry. He knocked down some shots and played a solid overall floor game. He has a stronger frame to rebound. [player_tooltip player_id="996166" first="Braeden" last="Speed"] Brophy Prep (Featured Image) Speed showed off his improving skill set in the game against Sunnyslope. His handle has always been tight but tonight he was confidently shooting jumpers. His on the ball defense was also top level.

Kingston Tosi Kingston Tosi 6'7" | PF/SF Millennium | 2025 State AZ Millennium

A very promising freshman forward who rebounds at a high rate. He blocked multiple shots. Kingston also showed that he can step away from the paint and handle the ball.

Gabe Pickens Gabe Pickens 6'0" | PG Dream City Christian | 2024 State AZ Millennium

A thickly built point guard who looks to push the ball at any given open opportunity. GP keeps the defender constantly on their heels. If he continues to hit 3’s on occasion like he did in the Ironwood contest he will be even more difficult to contain.

JT Amundsen CG 5'7 2025 Millennium

A freshman who came in during the Ironwood game and did his job…..that was shoot. Quick release and highly confident he looked for any opening to get his shot off. He hit multiple 3’s in the game against Ironwood. Opposing coach had to make sure that he was accounted for every trip down the court.

Noah Gifft Noah Gifft 6'2" | SG Ironwood | 2024 State AZ Ironwood

One of the best catch and shoot shooters in his class. He picked his spots wisely against a tough Millennium team. Moves without the ball to get to his spots. Makes good decisions with the ball.

Julius Williams Julius Williams 6'5" | PF Ironwood | 2023 State AZ Ironwood

Junior forward who does a little of everything for the Eagles. Against Millennium he knocked down jumpers, grabbed rebounds, and was looking for the cutters every time he could.

Koa Peat Koa Peat 6'8" | PF Perry | 2025 State #6 Nation AZ Perry

A young wing forward didn’t score as much as in previous games but still left his mark in the win against Chaparral. He was very active on the boards and defensively causing havoc for the opposing teams forwards.

Cody Williams Cody Williams 6'8" | SF Perry | 2023 State #25 Nation AZ Perry

A long guard facilitated for others as well as kept himself involved offensively. Where he really excelled was on the defensive end. His defense had Chaparral second guessing their passing with his long wingspan.

Nolan Brown Nolan Brown 5'9" | PG Perry | 2025 State AZ Perry

The freshman guard played a heady game for the Pumas against Chap. He showed a nice burst when bringing the ball up court while keeping his head up.

Ben Egbo Ben Egbo 6'4" | SF Perry | 2023 State AZ Perry

The wing showed off his athletic ability in the open court against Chaparral with two dunks. Egbo also showed that he is becoming more comfortable on the wing by hitting a 3.

Paul Oscislawski Paul Oscislawski 6'4" | SG Chaparral | 2023 State AZ Chaparral

Paul showed his all-around game against Perry. He knocked down some shots and played a solid overall floor game. He has a stronger frame to rebound.

Braeden Speed Braeden Speed 6'3" | CG Brophy Prep | 2024 State AZ Brophy Prep (Featured Image)
