Jordan Frazier 6’6 SF James Clemons 2022
Frazier is a wing with elite length, athleticism, and competitiveness. Offensively he is an excellent slasher who has a knack for always making the proper cut at the right time. He has nice touch around the rim and the athleticism to play above the rim when needed. Frazier also possesses a sufficient handle to handle pressure from opposing defenses. He has nice acceleration to get angles on defenders and keep them on their heels when going off the dribble. Defensively Frazier shows great positional fluidity and can guard 1-3 and an occasional small-ball four at an elite level. He has quickness and length and is fundamentally sound with his defensive stance and slide. Showed an incredible competitive drive when taking the assignment of guarding Calen Lightford Calen Lightford 5'11" | NA lbs | PG Sparkman | 2022 State #NA Nation AL (one of the primer guards in the state). In addition to that, he scored the game-winning bucket to overcome a very talented Sparkman team, showing he wants to be the man on both sides of the court.
Courage is how bad you want it. 🔥

Derek Moore 6’6 PF/C Springville 2022
Moore is a versatile big who can score inside and out. Throughout the week, he’s used his size and footwork to dominate the post. He does an excellent job of getting into the chest of the defenders and creating space for his shot. He also is fundamentally sound with his drop step, seals, finishing at the rim. He shows solid touch and an ability to consistently knock down the 15 footer, which allows him to get a high percentage shot on most of his touches. Moore also adds tremendous value as stretch five. He can effectively knock down open looks created from pick and pop situations or catch and shoot situations. In addition to that, he showed flashes of beating other bigs off the dribble when they close out on him or try to crowd his space.
Rylan Houck Rylan Houck 6'5" | NA lbs | SF Oxford | 2022 State #NA Nation AL SF/ SG Oxford 2022
Houck is a 2-way wing who’s multifaceted and can affect the game in every aspect. As a scorer, he has a solid jumper and is effective in mid-range. He shows poise and control and is always balanced when taking his shots. Houck has a solid handle for a wing and can be a playmaker for himself and others when he breaks down defenses. He’s also a very good and willing passer who creates open looks from the attention he gets as a scorer. Defensively Houck uses his wingspan to disturb shooters with heavy contents. He also is an elite shot-blocker from the wing position and can protect the rim if the rotation calls for it. He does an excellent job of hustling for rebounds and loose balls on the defensive end and seems to embrace being the team’s number one defender.
Jaylen Curry 6’5 SF Hazel Green 2022
Curry is a smooth scorer with a nostalgic game based on accuracy from the midrange, the use of the triple threat jab, and his standard size as a wing. He possesses the shooters’ touch and always seems to get a favorable bounce. He does a great job of not wasting dribbles and can get to his spots with two dribbles or less. His jumper is pure with a high point release and soft touch. He also gets excellent elevation on his shot, allowing him to see over defenders when he rises up and launches. Off the dribble, he’s shifty and has a tight handle that enables him to create space at a high level.
Sam Wright 6’9 PF/C Spain Park 2023
Wright is a versatile power forward who’s displayed an ability to fit in today’s 3-point oriented game and dominate the post as traditional big. He already possesses D1 size, and his skills aren’t far behind. When working in the post, Wright can finish with either hand. He embraces contact and plays to his size. He’s fundamentally sound with his footwork and doesn’t waste movement when operating in the post. In addition, Wright is a solid offensive rebounder who consistently creates second-chance points for his team. Wright also can provide space with his shooting and play alongside traditional 5’s. Shows comfort on the perimeter when shooting or cutting to the basket. With skill, size, and time on his side he could develop into a top-tier Big in the 2023 class.
