Top player performances from around the state on Super Tuesday? We run through several now!

Blake Anderson of St. Louis Park. The Orioles knocked off Minnehaha Academy in a great team effort. Blake’s ten points and a dozen rebounds while doing his best to make sure [player_tooltip player_id="850702" first="Prince" last="Aligbe"] didn’t dominate them was one of many key performances helping SLP get a memorable win.

[player_tooltip player_id="850729" first="Muja" last="Burton"] of Columbia Heights. When Muja gets hot bringing out defenders, it’s over. He hit five threes and also had the space to go to the cup to score 33 points on a very good Minneapolis South team. Impressive performance from the Hylanders senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="1189958" first="Isaiah" last="Hagen"] of Orono. Minnesota, Orono looks to be for real. Hagen had 26 points including three three-point makes in leading Orono over Delano 78-60 in a key victory. Throw in four steals and four assists and it was a full day of quality.

[player_tooltip player_id="1143865" first="Kobe" last="Kirk"] of Mounds View. There are one, maybe two handfuls of players in Minnesota that have that ability to simply explode as a scorer changing the game in an instant. [player_tooltip player_id="1143865" first="Kobe" last="Kirk"] of Mounds View is one of those players and he scored 39 in a 75-48 win over North St. Paul. When he gets hot, the range and position of the defender really don’t seem to matter.

[player_tooltip player_id="958671" first="Theo" last="Liu"] of Blake. Theo! My goodness. Liu completely dominated Hill-Murray putting up 37 points with 10 boards in a big double-double before an early seat. When you score 37 points in less than 30 minutes you are doing something for the Tuesday Night Elite!

[player_tooltip player_id="850721" first="Benard" last="Omooria"] of Osseo. I’m guessing that Omooria was juiced after [player_tooltip player_id="958640" first="Tyirece" last="Waits"] scored 34 over the weekend because in the very next game Benard put up a 30 spot himself in a 71-58 Osseo win over Moorhead. Benard hit 9 of 12 attempts at the arc and blew the game wide open.

[player_tooltip player_id="958748" first="Ashton" last="Sivilay"] of Jordan. Making a return to these pages is senior Ashtong Sivilay, one of the more surprising 30 point per game scorers I have seen in some time. Had another 30+ game (31) as the Hubmen rocked Belle Plain 96-74. Need to get over to see him play, the numbers he’s putting up are special.

[player_tooltip player_id="962209" first="Asher" last="Zubich"] of Mt Iron-Buhl. Asher led his squad over Virginia 90-66 with a near triple double of 38 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds. One of the state’s more explosive players had another big game for the resume.
