- Cincinnati Taft (5-2) Taft took a tough loss to Highlands (KY) after holding a big lead for a majority of the game. However, wins over teams like Western Hills have them at the top.
- Lutheran East (5-2) After a blowout loss to Saint Ignatius, Lutheran East has righted the ship and appear ready to go on a run. Their January schedule doesn’t get any easier though.
- Ottawa-Glandorf (4-0) No big games for OG so no surprise they are unbeaten, January and February have more potential roadblocks.
- Colonel Crawford (7-0) After a great season last year, Colonel Crawford is back again looking to make a deeper run with their stud senior duo.
- Bishop Ready (5-1) A victory over Heath in overtime was very impressive, let’s see how Ready navigates the CCL as the smallest school in the conference.
- Africentric (4-2) Two losses to Huber Heights Wayne and Huntington (WV) are blows, but Africentric is still the favorite in the Columbus City League South.
- Harvest Prep (5-1) After a pretty stunning season opening loss to Logan, Harvest Prep has found its stride and picked up a blowout victory over city rival Canal Winchester to prove they belong in the top 10.
- South Point (7-1) A victory over Fairland has South Point atop the OVC, their only loss of the season is to Greenup (KY)
- Fairland (7-2) Fairland pulled off a big-time victory over Tri-Village to earn a spot in the top 10. They’ll get a rematch with South Point in the middle of January.
- Centerburg (7-0) Beating Worthington Christian is the signature victory on Centerburg’s resume, we’ll see how much longer they can remain unbeaten.
Honorable mention (by region) Wayne Trace (7-1) Western Reserve (Collins) (7-0) Versailles (6-0)
Springfield Shawnee (6-1) Preble Shawnee (5-1)
West Lafayette Ridgewood (6-1) Eastern Brown (4-2)
Utica (5-1) North Union (6-1)
Creston Norwayne (6-1) Fairview (6-1)
