<p>The season is underway! The year is young and we have had some high-ranked teams take losses and we have also had some upsets. It is great to have the season rolling. It is only going to get better from here! Below are the PHD Power Rankings.</p>

<h3><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>POWER RANKINGS</strong></span></h3>
<h4><strong>#1</strong> <strong>Four Winds/Minnewaukan</strong></h4>
<p>Record 2-0. The Indians have had two great wins to start the year against two top teams. 4 Winds took down Enderlin 82-79. They also defeated Beulah by a score of 82-67. The Indians have been led by [player_tooltip player_id="1144580" first="Deng" last="Deng"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1046356" first="Jayden" last="Yankton"]. These two have been playing like All-Staters. At this point, 4 Winds is the undisputed #1 Team in Class B basketball! 4 Winds does not have any games this week.</p>
<h4><strong>#2 Hillsboro/Central Valley</strong></h4>
<p>Record 2-0. The Burros upset Kindred by a score of 45-44. They also had a blowout win over Drayton-Valley-Edinburg. HCV is an athletic team that is led by [player_tooltip player_id="1130543" first="Gannon" last="Limke"], [player_tooltip player_id="1130544" first="Parker" last="Gallagher"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1144488" first="Jacob" last="Brandt"]. Tomorrow the Burros will have a tough game against Ada-Borup (MN).</p>
<h4><strong>#3 Kindred</strong></h4>
<p>Record 1-1. The Vikings lost game 1 against HCV by a score of 45-44. In game 2 they won big over Tri-State 70-26. The Vikings are led by [player_tooltip player_id="812227" first="Paul" last="Olson"], [player_tooltip player_id="1123710" first="Jaiden" last="Peraza"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1123711" first="Max" last="McQuillan"]. This week Kindred plays their rival Richland, the Vikings should win this one with ease. </p>
<h4><strong>#4 Enderlin</strong></h4>
<p>Record 1-2. The Eagles lost their opener to 4 Winds 82-79. In their next game, they defeated Lisbon in the "Goat Game" by a score of 78-39. On Saturday Enderlin lost to a super good Byron (MN) team 84-68. Enderlin plays the toughest schedule in Class B and they will play many great teams. [player_tooltip player_id="812220" first="Gus" last="Hurlburt"] and [player_tooltip player_id="787658" first="Joe" last="Hurlburt"] are the lead players for the Eagles. This week Enderlin plays a Region-1 dark horse team in Sargent County. </p>
<h4><strong>#5 North Border</strong></h4>
<p>Record 2-0. The Eagles took down NCass 65-54. They also beat Langdon 52-33. The Eagles have been very tough defensively. On offense, they have been led by [player_tooltip player_id="1050261" first="TJ" last="Cosley"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1126978" first="Ayden" last="Stainbrook"] who are both putting up 18 a game. [player_tooltip player_id="1159584" first="Jaxen" last="Johnson"] has been dominant on defense. [player_tooltip player_id="1126980" first="Kyler" last="Moore"] has been an impact player after coming back from his football injury. The young freshman [player_tooltip player_id="1165355" first="Grant" last="Cosley"] has been tough and has shown he belongs on the big stage. The Eagles are off this week with no games. </p>
<h4><strong>#6 Beulah </strong></h4>
<p>Record 0-1. The Miners have one game so far. They lost to 4 Winds 82-67. It was a 5 point game with 6 minutes left. The Miners struggled to get stops late and it cost them the game. It was still a nice overall showing for Beulah. [player_tooltip player_id="812226" first="Trey" last="Brandt"] is the best PG in Class B ND. His stats for game 1: 29 pts, 4 reb, 5 asst. Tomorrow they play Oak Grove at Jamestown.</p>
<h4><strong>#7 Dunseith</strong></h4>
<p>Record 4-0. The Dragons beat MLS 65-52, Glenburn 84-48, St. John 72-55, and Harvey Wells County 65-57 (OT). Dunseith is an impressive offensive team. The top Dragons are [player_tooltip player_id="1046358" first="Ethan" last="Morin"], [player_tooltip player_id="1129433" first="Jalen" last="Poitra"], and Chad Parisien Jr. On Tuesday the Dragons plat at Rollette.</p>
<h4><strong>#8 Flasher</strong></h4>
<p>Record 3-0. The Bulldogs defeated Kidder County 71-46. Next, they beat Grant County/Mott-Regent by a score of 72-52. In their third game, they beat Garrison 72-55. Flasher has been led by brothers [player_tooltip player_id="1133050" first="Jace" last="Friesz"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1144986" first="Javin" last="Friesz"]. In the Garrison game, Jace had 19 pts and 20 rebs. His younger brother Javin had 29 points on 10-16 shooting! On Tuesday Flasher hosts Center-Stanton.</p>
<h4><strong>#9 LaMoure/Litchville-Marion</strong></h4>
<p>Record 2-0. The Loboes beat Sargent County 64-49 in their opening game. In their second game, LLM had a large margin victory over Wyndmere-Lidgerwood. The Loboes are a very disciplined, athletic, and super tough defensive team. [player_tooltip player_id="1124143" first="Corban" last="Potts"] is their PG and best player. They also have high talent with [player_tooltip player_id="1124144" first="Landon" last="Piehl"], [player_tooltip player_id="1224171" first="Colton" last="Ness"], [player_tooltip player_id="1269576" first="Tate" last="Mart"], [player_tooltip player_id="1145406" first="Max" last="Musland"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1145407" first="Carter" last="Bowman"]. This week they host Lisbon on Tuesday.</p>
<h4><strong>#10 Powers Lake</strong></h4>
<p>Record 3-0. The Ranchers have wins over North-Shore Plaza, Divide County, and Stanley. The Ranchers are a traditional powerhouse in Region 8 as of late. [player_tooltip player_id="1050257" first="Tyson" last="Enget"] is the best player and big points scorer for Powers Lake. Through 3 games Enget is averaging 23.67 ppg 6 apg and 9 rpg. We will see how good Powers Lake is this week when they go up against a tough Trenton team. </p>
